Much-loved professional bodybuilder Cedric McMillan reportedly died
Cedric MacMillan, a professional bodybuilder who won the 2017 Arnold Classic, died at the age of 44 – news of a close connection to the IronMan generation and their families has been confirmed. The tragic news came shortly after McMillan was very open about his past heart problems and near-death experience in 2021.
While details have not been confirmed, sources say Cedric McMillan suffered a heart attack on a treadmill. The professional bodybuilder has been delaying his return to competitive bodybuilding due to health issues, but he is very optimistic about being able to return to the field sometime in 2022.

Born on August 16, 1977 in Maplewood, New York, Cedric McMillan has been obsessed with bodybuilding and muscle since childhood. As a child, he often referred to bodybuilding and fitness magazines to draw his superhero caricatures. Even his mother said that "what Cedric used to do was talk about muscles." ”
Cedric McMillan fulfilled his childhood dream by becoming a pro in 2009 after winning NPC Nationals. McMillan went on to win the 2011 Orlando Championship and then the 2012 New York Pro. 2017 was a great year for McMillan. He went on to win the 2017 Arnold Classic and became the top contender for the men's Open.
For many, Cedric McMillan is a return to the "classic" look many fans hope to see in men's open bodybuilding matches.
