Tang was the founding prince of the Shang Dynasty, living in Bocheng by the Boqing River. At the time of the plague in the world, in order to pray for the blessings of all the people, Fan Xiao'e bid farewell to Tang and went to Daimei Mountain on the other side of the Yellow River to practice, rough tea and light rice in the mountains, stooping to work, to moralize people, to respect the heavens with sincerity, so that the Shangtang tribe was smooth and rainy, prosperous, the people lived and worked in peace and contentment, and finally cut down Xia Jie successfully, established the Shang Dynasty, and Fan Xiao'e also deified into Lady Daimei.
Legend has it that one year, when Daimei Niangniang's provincial relatives passed by Yuzi Village on the way to the province, they saw that although the village lived by the river, but in the dry season it was also trapped by water, the wells in the village were almost dry, and people only relied on the muddy muddy soup water at the bottom of the well to talk about their lives, because the drinking water was unclean, many villagers suffered from big neck disease, one by one, the pain was unbearable, and the speech was hoarse. Her tragic situation was deeply sympathetic to Lady Daimei, who was kind and kind-hearted, and after a little thought, she told the villagers that there was a spring water on the half slope of the village, which could not only solve the difficulty of water shortage after excavation, but also cure people's big neck disease. The villagers wondered where there would be spring water on the half slope? Lady Daimei led everyone to a stone wall on the slope, only to see her take off the hairpin on her head, and with a stroke of her hand, the stone wall cracked a gap, and a clear spring gushed out, drinking sweetly, washing was refreshing, and sure enough, it not only solved the difficulty of drinking water, but also cured the disease of the villagers. When the news came out, the villagers rushed to tell them, and the surrounding villages also came to drink this magical spring water.
Since then, the spring water has flowed day and night, and in the face of drought, the flood has not increased, and it has not declined for thousands of years, and the people of Yuzi Village have never suffered from waterlessness. In order to thank The Grace of Lady Daimei, the descendants drank water and thought about the source, built a temple next to the spring to worship Lady Daimei, and called this spring "Fountain of Elimination", and also known as "Ningbi Spring" by literati and scholars, which is one of the eight famous springs in Yuanqu County.
In Yuzi Village, there are many legends and stories about the extinction spring, most of which have mythological overtones, and the more common saying is that this spring is that The Dragon King, the land and the mountain gods were summoned by the Lady of Daimei to consult, and the gods and immortals used their divine power to borrow this divine water from the White Goose Village, the hometown of the Lady of the White Goose, and also said that this spring was connected with a well in the White Goose Village.
Of course, these many myths and legends are far-fetched interpretations of posterity, the original intention is to be grateful, but also to dispel the grotto spring is not in the low-lying, but in the middle of the mountainside; not from the ground, but from the rock wall flowing out of the magical phenomenon. Every year on the fifteenth day of the third month of the lunar calendar, it is the day when Lady Daimei returns to her mother's home, the village under the Daimei Mountain in Xin'an County, Henan Province, sends Lady Daimei to the north bank of the Yellow River, and the people of Wu hate Village in Yingyan Town, Yuanqu County, continue to follow in the north of the Yellow River, and then beat gongs and drums, and pull people to carry "Lady Daimei" back to her mother's home, along the way with songs and dances, playing rap, and the villagers use various forms to praise the virtues and benevolence and merits of "Lady Daimei". Then there is the Daimei Niangniang Temple Fair, which lasts for several days, which has a long history and is listed as the intangible cultural heritage of Yuncheng City, and after a month of living in the Mother's house, the villagers send the "Daimei Niangniang" back to The Daimei Mountain in Henan. This is a vivid folklore picture, a folk event looking back at history, telling the true story of more than 3,000 years ago, confirming the authenticity and reliability of "Tang Shi Ju Bo" in Yuanqu.
A few days ago, I happened to pass by Yuzi Village, and with a single thought, I turned into Yuzi Village, abandoned my car and walked, and under the guidance of the villagers, I went down an ancient alley to see the Extinction Spring. The hutong is narrow, there are several ancient courtyards on both sides, and the back wall of the south room of a courtyard has the propaganda words "Red Flag Commune Yuzi Brigade Jumping into the Platform" and "Running a Public Canteen", which should be a product of the 1950s. The hutong is slope-shaped, walking to the highest part of the village's habitat, and the half slope of the cliff body is the extinction spring.

The spring water flows from the whole house into the pool in the courtyard, through a pipe, into a square water tower under the road, and then flows to the nearby villagers' homes, in front of the water tower are three bungalows, the door is open, walk in, you can see the murals on the wall, there is a portrait of the Lady Daimei, there is the legend of the extinction spring, and what is more gratifying is that there is a faucet in the house, open the faucet, the clear spring water will rush out, drink a sip, the whole body piano is refreshing; wash your hands and face, feel lubricated. It's really a spring with excellent water quality.
Out of the house, the south side of the ditch, the mountain peach blossoms between the cliffs are in full bloom, the willow trees are already spitting green, a slip of rape flowers on the side of the road is brilliant and golden, a small vegetable field is lush with spinach, green onions, garlic, full of vitality, and the green wheat field is as green as a blanket, and farmers can be seen working hard in the fields. From a distance, the level of the reservoir area is like a mirror, a bit of a vast and ethereal look, and the Daimei Mountain is like a fairyland.
In a few days, it is the day when Lady Daimei returns to her mother's home, and Lady Daimei has a spirit, and she will definitely stop at Yuzi Village and enjoy seeing today's spasm.
