Selena Gomez says "goodbye" to her body shaming person.
The star, who starred in "Only Murders in the Building," said on TikTok that it's not worth missing out on delicious food to "stay slim."
"So even though I tried to stay slim, I went to Jack in the Box and bought four tortillas, three omelets, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich," she said in a video posted on her account.
Selena, 29, then mimicked the comments she often heard about her figure, quipping: "'You're too young. You're too big. This does not fit. Boom, boom, boom, boom. ’”
The singer, who sang "Revelación," confidently told the audience at the end of the video: "Slut, I'm perfect this way now."
While Selena has been actively posting TikTok videos lately, she hasn't actually been on social media for more than four years because it made her very unhappy.
"I haven't been online for four and a half years," she shared on Good Morning America. "It completely changed my life. I'm happier, I'm living in the moment. I communicate more with people. It makes me feel normal. ”
In 2020, Selena shared her own diagnosis of bipolar disorder. But she felt relieved and said that she might as well let the storm come more violently.
"I don't care about my weight because people are going to complain anyway. Whether I'm too skinny or too fat, I'm perfect. This attitude has been highly praised by followers. After all, their own figure has nothing to do with others. Many celebrities have suffered from this kind of being picked up.
Now she knows how to face the internet and knows how to stop and take care of her mental health and self-esteem. More and more celebrities are making a very informed decision. But her ex's wife is still battling it.
