Yu Jiming, born in 1979, is a native of Wushan County, Gansu Province. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Northwest Normal University in 2004. In 2014, he graduated from the graduate class of the Chinese Academy of Painting of the China Academy of Arts. In 2015, he graduated from the 3rd Dunhuang Mural Painting Seminar of Tang Xiuling Chongcai Studio. He is a member of the China Artists Association and a painter employed by the Youth Painting Institute of the Gansu Academy of Painting.
