A vote of no confidence that reverses and reverses
Pakistan's (former) Prime Minister Imran Khan, 69, was an excellent cricketer in his youth. After retiring from the army, Imran Khan founded the Pakistan Justice Movement Party and served as its chairman. In 2018, Imran Khan led the JeM party to victory in the general election, and he officially became Pakistan's new prime minister in August 2018.
Pakistan's prime minister serves a five-year term, and according to this rule, Imran Khan will not end his prime ministerial term until 2023. On 7 April, Pakistan's Supreme Court ruled that Qasim Suri's decision to veto the motion of no confidence was unconstitutional and annulled it; ruled that Alvi's decision to dissolve the National Assembly was null and void, declaring the restoration of the National Assembly and its Cabinet; and asking the Speaker to convene a meeting of Parliament no later than 10.30 a.m. on 9 April to vote on imran Khan's motion of no confidence.
Pakistan's Supreme Court's move this time is extremely unusual. When Shabbaz Sharif became Punjab's chief minister, he worked "closely" with China to promote large-scale infrastructure projects. Shabbaz has also repeatedly spoken highly of CPEC, saying it is not just a simple combination of electricity, energy, roads or other physical projects, but a grand blueprint for transforming Pakistan into a major emerging economy, allowing pakistan's less developed regions to enjoy development dividends.
Because Pakistan is unwilling to follow the United States in containing China, although Pakistan is nominally an ally of the United States, it is actually treated similarly to Turkey, and is the object of abandonment and wariness. At the same time, considering that the United States attaches more importance to relations with India, Pakistan is unlikely to lean towards the United States one-sidedly.
