"World Language and Culture Studies"
Notice of Subject Declaration
The topic of "World Language and Culture Research" was established by the China Foreign Language Strategic Research Center and supported by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Publishing House, aiming to gather professional forces in related fields, build a high-end academic research platform for the needs of basic education, vocational education and higher education, promote the cultivation of high-quality language and cultural talents under the background of the century-old changes, further enhance national language capabilities and international competence, and promote the innovative development of foreign language education in the mainland.
The China Foreign Language Strategic Research Center is the first scientific research base officially established by the State Language and Writing Work Committee, the first batch of national language and writing think tank units and CTTI think tank directory, and the only language base among the discipline innovation and wisdom introduction bases of national colleges and universities, and a high-end scientific and educational platform engaged in language life, language policy and language education research. The following announcements are made on the application for the 2022 project.
Guiding ideology
Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on education and the spirit of the National Education Conference, adhere to the correct political direction, value orientation and academic orientation, based on China's global development, and carry out research on the cultivation of world languages, world cultures and related talents.
Advocate the combination of academic research with the mainland's foreign language education and talent training needs, the combination of basic theoretical research and practical applied research, and the combination of domestic research and international comparative research; focus on the study of practical problems, take into account historical research and forward-looking research, and serve the mainland's foreign language education, discipline construction, scientific research and talent training. Research should be original, reflect the distinctive characteristics of the times, problem-oriented and innovative awareness, and strive to introduce high-level research results.
