Vertical axis (above), mainly used for vertical composition, hanging appreciation. The upper and lower sides of the canvas are often appreciated by literati or collectors with inscriptions. The middle part is called "Painting Heart", with "Shitang" and "Tiantou" on the top, and the foot of the ground below. There are "water gaps" up and down, and some tiantou stickers "surprise swallows".
At first, the "shock swallow belt" is not solid, can flutter, and then it is pasted, purely decorative. The upper and lower ends of the "painting heart" can be inlaid with brocade strips, called "brocade eyebrows", also known as "brocade teeth". The large first calligraphy painting hanging in the middle of the hall is also called "Middle Hall".
Several mounting styles for vertical shafts are as follows:
▲One-color suit
▲Two-color suit
▲Tri-color suit
▲Poetry costume
▲Interval one color suit
▲Brocade suit
▲ Collection
▲ Song style (Xuanhe) clothing

▲ Four screens
▲Tongjing screen

Its shape is the same as the vertical axis, but there are a few more, generally 4, there are 6, 8, 12. The Tongjing screen is composed of several characters or paintings of the same size and the same space, which are decorated side by side by one-color flower aya and other inlays.
▲Mirror heart one
▲Mirror heart two
▲ Mirror heart three
The lens (the three pictures above), also known as the mirror center, is the painting center after mounting, which is suitable for clamping in the frame, so it is called the mirror center. Its form can be horizontal and vertical, and it is a simplified vertical shaft mounting form, which can be hung in the frame for viewing. Chinese frame design is concise and does not re-empt.
Album (top two photos), the painting is framed into a book form, which is more convenient to carry, appreciate and preserve. Some albums are linked by pages, and some are loose-leaf. Because the canvas is not large, it is also called "sketch".
Horizontal shawl (above), mainly used for horizontal composition, the frame is not too large, the flange, blank depends on the size of the frame, but the left and right flange, blank should generally be wider than the upper and lower flange, blank, such as upper and lower trim, blank for one inch, then left and right for five inches, horizontal drape is not equipped with shaft rods, lintels are installed on both sides.
Hand-rolled (above), mainly used for viewing on a tabletop, is smaller in size. There are quite a few blank spaces in front of and behind the frame, especially at the back, for the viewer to write praises or appraisal opinions. There is a "bag head" on the outside, and a "caption" is pasted on top of the "bag head". In the front, there is "introduction", and in the middle, there is "painting the heart". Immediately on both sides of the painting is the "water barrier", followed by the "tail".
