The bitterness and joy of a "net red" double police family

□ Yin Li, reporter of "Rule of Law Weekend"

What few people know is that Su Xingbo, an anti-fraud "net red" policeman, has experienced such a dark low point in life.

People often relish that for a while, as soon as they sat on the online car in Beijing, an anti-fraud prompt would sound in their ears: "Hello, I am Su Xingbo, a police officer of the Criminal Investigation Corps of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau..." Along with the development and deepening of the anti-telecommunications network fraud work of the public security department, as the earliest batch of police officers engaged in anti-fraud propaganda in China, Su Xingbo has long been famous.

However, as Su Xingbo's wife, Liu Cong, a police officer at the police station, remembers very clearly: In the early morning of 7 years ago, he entered marriage for only a few months, and he heard her husband say such a sentence -

"Daughter-in-law, divorce, divorce..."

Leave the front lines of crime fighting

Vigorously carry out anti-fraud propaganda

It was early spring 2015, and the first rays of sunlight peeked into the ward through the window, illuminating Su Xingbo's already changed face. After being injured in the line of duty in Hainan, due to the need for continuous hormone injections for treatment, he gained 50 pounds in 3 months, and "all five features were put together." What pained him even more was that the doctors told him that even if the treatment went well, the injury would probably be difficult to reverse.

"The sky is gray." Recalling the situation at that time, Su Xingbo said that because he did not want to drag his new wife down, even if he did not give up, he still proposed a "divorce" with red eyes.

Not long ago, a criminal gang of telecommunications fraud entrenched in Hainan was shut down by the police. In the process of subduing gang members, Su Xingbo was kicked and injured by criminals. At that time, he endured severe physical pain and was bent on conducting on-the-spot interrogations as soon as possible and bringing the criminals to justice. He did it, but before he knew it, he had been working for a day or two nights.

In the humid weather with temperatures of more than 30 degrees Celsius, Su Xingbo's wound was seriously infected. He was first taken to a local hospital in Hainan and then transferred to Beijing for further treatment.

Knowing that Su Xingbo was injured and hospitalized, Liu Cong took the first leave of absence to fly to Hainan to take care of her husband. After that, in front of the hospital bed in Beijing, before and after.

This northeastern woman, who is one meter and seven or two meters tall, speaks like a cannon and walks in a big stride, and even some male policemen in the police station can't catch up with her. Liu Cong said that this is the imprint left by the life of the army: not only is it fast, but "there is something really good."

For the "divorce" proposed by her husband, Liu Cong only felt moved. She immediately saw through Su Xingbo's thoughts: "When she needed me most, she pushed me out..." But she was neither angry nor worried, but secretly determined: If the doctor's prophecy came true, she would accept the arrangement of fate and accompany her husband.

Seeing that Dr. Su Xing's temper was low, Liu Cong actively enlightened him: "Even if you can't rush to the front line to face the criminals in the future, what else can you do in addition to fighting crime?" Did you learn anything from your previous outings? ”

His wife's words inspired Su Xingbo. He quickly thought that if the anti-fraud work was put in the forefront and anti-fraud propaganda was vigorously carried out, it should be able to play a significant preventive role.

Su Xingbo suddenly had a new goal of work. During the following hospitalization, he sat in a wheelchair, holding the laptop that Liu Cong gave him, and began to make a PPT with the theme of anti-fraud propaganda. Based on his long-term practice and thinking, he summed up a set of anti-fraud propaganda system.

After being discharged from the hospital, Su Xingbo's summary of anti-fraud propaganda was strongly supported by leaders at all levels of the Criminal Investigation Corps of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau. As a result, he officially embarked on the road of anti-fraud propaganda and opened a new direction for his career.

Soon, Su Xingbo found that he had given an anti-fraud lesson to the elderly in a community in Beijing, and the effect soon appeared. The old man's sense of fraud prevention was firmly established, and he never heard of a telecommunications network fraud in this community.

No love direct flash marriage

They are both husband and wife and comrades-in-arms

Liu Cong witnessed the adjustment of Su Xingbo's work direction, and she was proud of her husband who successfully came out of the trough. Su Xingbo also felt more and more that he had "found the right person." In his words: "What is the right person? She will let you see a whole new world and will make everything better and better for you. ”

However, if the time goes back to 10 years ago, Su Xingbo and Liu Cong, who met at the beginning of their acquaintance, in fact, "no one can look at anyone".

At that time, Su Xingbo in Liu Cong's eyes was a cold Beijing "Gongzi Brother". And Su Xingbo also feels that Liu Cong is too lively, and he may be more suitable for getting along with girls with gentle personalities. He also set himself a mate selection standard, one of which is "not looking for female policemen".

Su Xingbo knows too much about the police industry - if you are looking for a female policewoman to marry, the couple are busy with work, who will take care of the family?

However, two people who seem to be "intolerable" eventually skip the love and directly "flash marriage".

In 2013, Su Xingbo spent most of his time on anti-fraud business trips. It was also in this year that he entered Liu Cong's heart from Weibo. From the pictures and texts on Weibo, Liu Cong gradually discovered that Su Xingbo was an extremely serious person for his work.

Once, Su Xingbo posted several side photos of himself on Weibo — his ears were sunburned to the color of soy sauce, not only blistering, but also peeling off his skin. The man after Liu Cong suddenly read these photos - he must be running on the way to carry out the task, with unspeakable heartache, but still choose to be strong.

"I'll fight that too." At that moment, Liu Cong felt a strong resonance with Su Xingbo.

The reason why Liu Cong impressed Su Xingbo was also because of a photo.

In 2014, Liu Cong participated in the Ministry of Public Security's Literary and Art Show, which received a warm response and finally won the silver award. It's hard to imagine that this show was "ground" 48 hours before it hit the scene.

Due to the temporary adjustment of the performance, Liu Cong had to complete the arrangement of the entire entry in the shortest possible time. In order to win the honor, she did not close her eyes for two days and two nights before the competition, and her knees became black and purple and swollen due to the accumulation of water and high-intensity training, coupled with a serious lack of rest. When practicing dance, she endured the pain even more, polishing important movements such as "kneeling" over and over again...

At 2:30 a.m., when the creation was the most sleepy, Liu Cong was making fun of it and uploaded a video of himself dancing "Little Apple" to Weibo. At that time, Su Xingbo was also busy with work, and happened to "brush" this video on Weibo and found the pair of purple-black knees.

Su Xingbo was secretly surprised: Liu Cong was so strong and optimistic... He immediately sent a message to Liu Cong: "Your knees are all right, right?" ”

The moment he saw the news, Liu Cong felt very warm. "Although I am a person who reports good news and does not report good news, there are also times when I am particularly vulnerable."

After realizing that he had a good feeling for Su Xingbo, Liu Cong "did not want to waste time on falling in love." One night in 2014, she sent a message directly to Su Xingbo: "Su Xingbo, let's get married." ”

In the face of a sudden "marriage proposal", Su Xingbo was stunned. Early the next morning, he called and told Liu Cong: "I agree. ”

Therefore, the two took their own household registration books and went to get a marriage license together. The two new era policemen, who did not like blind dates, came together in this way.

At that time, they had never seen each other's parents. Liu Cong's mother is quiet and supportive of her daughter on the surface, but in fact she is worried that she will not be able to sleep for several days. Seeing the picture of Su Xingbo on TV, the son-in-law did not wear a police uniform, and there was no siren on his clothes, and the old man muttered in his heart: "This is not a liar pretending to be a policeman, right?" Or a powerful liar who fooled the TV station? ”

Fortunately, the "Meet parents" session led the way to the green light. The wedding was also scheduled for January 10, 2015 after repeated discussions between the two families. Coincidentally, this day has become the "Chinese Police Day" since 2021.

After marriage, Su Xingbo and Liu Cong had no time for honeymoon, so they entered a working state. Liu Cong knows that many people are not optimistic about his relationship of directly "flash marriage" without falling in love. But she didn't think so. "Although we have different personalities, our three views are in line. We are husband and wife, but also comrades-in-arms. Our story, the more exciting it is. ”

Find meaning at work

Gradually fall in love with their position

Su Xingbo's father was also a policeman. Recalling his childhood, he said: "My father didn't take care of me much, almost 'free range'. I grew up in a police dormitory building and grew up eating in the unit canteen. ”

Although his father's companionship and teaching were not much, Su Xingbo's childhood memories were full of various police elements. Later, he was admitted to the China Criminal Police Academy and aspired to become a policeman.

In June 2012, Su Xingbo was transferred from the forensic science and technology department to the investigation and anti-fraud department due to the transfer of his post.

Seemingly ordinary post transfers are actually closely related to the social security situation. In early 2000, telecommunications network fraud began to sprout in The country. After 2009, telecommunications network fraud, especially those impersonating the Public Prosecutor's Office Law, has increased significantly. The Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has set up a temporary body called the Anti-Telecommunications Fraud Crime Office. Subsequently, in order to more effectively crack down on telecommunications network fraud, at the end of 2012, the ten detachments of the Criminal Investigation Corps of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau were formally established, and their main work was to be responsible for the investigation and crackdown of telecommunications network fraud cases.

It was also since then that Su Xingbo has integrated into this team and has been working ever since. Now, with outstanding work achievements, he is already the squadron leader of ten detachments.

For Su Xingbo, the many cases he has personally experienced have gradually made him feel the significance of anti-fraud work.

Once, an old lady who believed in the scammers made a lot of noise in the face of the police and asked the police why they did not let her transfer money. Su Xingbo was kind enough to persuade each other, but the old man spoke harshly to each other, and even waved his crutch to try to hit people. Seeing the resolute attitude of the police, the old man who failed to transfer the money as he wished had to return home.

The next day, accompanied by her children, the old lady came to the criminal investigation team and knelt in front of Su Xingbo as soon as she entered the door. It turned out that the old man's lifelong savings were stored in the bank card, and if it were not for the perseverance of Su Xingbo and others, the money would have already entered the pockets of the fraudsters.

Since the establishment of ten detachments of the Beijing Criminal Investigation Corps specifically responsible for combating telecommunications network fraud in 2012, to the establishment of the country's first provincial anti-telecommunications network fraud crime center in 2015; from the 96110 anti-telecom network fraud special number in Beijing in 2019, to the launch of the "National Anti-Fraud" App by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, and then to the launch of the National Anti-Fraud Center App, the anti-fraud means have been upgraded again and again, and an anti-fraud Skynet has been rolled out.

Su Xingbo was one of the original planners of the anti-fraud app, and this idea was also named one of the "Top Ten Golden Ideas of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau" in 2015. Subsequently, the anti-fraud experience of the Beijing police was quickly spread across the country. He is proud to be able to contribute his part in the anti-fraud work.

Unlike Su Xingbo, Liu Cong grew up in a family full of literary atmosphere. Writing, acting, photography, she dabbles in everything. Especially the national folk dance, she is born in a class and has profound skills.

But similar to her husband, since she was a child, Liu Cong has held a fighting spirit and is strong in everything. In the past, "I didn't get three honors in a year, and I felt like I failed that year." Even her mother often advised her: "Can you spare yourself?" ”

After transferring from the army, Liu Cong went to work in the Public Security Bureau. Removing the "olive green" and putting on the "police blue", she became a police officer at the Anwai Street Police Station of the Dongcheng Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

For being assigned to work at the police station, Liu Cong admitted that his psychology was once unbalanced, believing that working at the grassroots level was a delay in time, "I need to learn on a higher platform."

However, day after day of work, Liu Cong suddenly understood that in his former "unseen" post, he was on duty in the heart of the motherland, experiencing many people's "things that he could not experience in this life". At the same time, this "grounded" job often allows her to experience the warmth and preciousness of fireworks in the world.

What makes Liu Cong unforgettable is that one day, on the front door bell car, a child saluted himself, and he also smiled and returned a salute. Then she saw the whole car of children raise their small hands and give a salute to an entire carriage.

When it is cold, want to buy a cup of hot milk tea, the merchants look at the familiar police, immediately greeted warmly, insisting on "50% off".

There are more stories like this, and Liu Cong gradually falls in love with his post.

While patrolling areas such as Qianmen Avenue, Liu Cong and her colleagues often encounter tourists who come to ask for directions. Patiently guiding these visitors is also one of their jobs.

In this regard, some new police officers often do not feel the value of their work, so they complain a lot. Liu Cong taught them: "The old man is seventy or eighty years old, and he may come to Beijing for a lifetime." Isn't it valuable that you can make their journey smoother and more enjoyable by raising their hand and keeping them from going far? ”

For the work of the police station, Liu Cong feels that it is now "inseparable and reluctant".

In the past, Liu Cong had such a view: "But if you have some ambition, how can you be willing to stay at the grassroots level?" But now, she's completely subverting that idea.

Liu Cong told reporters that in the jurisdiction of the Anwai Street police station of the Dongcheng substation, there was an old man with heart disease, and his emergency caller was not his only son living in Beijing, but a community policeman. Because only the community police can ensure that in case of a heart attack, he will be sent to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

Couples fighting fires are on the hot search

The majority of netizens have liked it

In December 2016, su Xingbo, as the first police officer to support the establishment of an anti-fraud center in Lhasa, Tibet, went to Lhasa to carry out work without recovering from surgery.

For her husband's business trip, Liu Cong felt that it was a good opportunity for communication, so he was very supportive. This made the elders of the family very incomprehensible, and questioned her: "His wounds are not growing well, why do you let him go to Tibet for business?!" ”

"If it were me, I would have gone the next day of surgery!" Liu Cong said.

As a wife, Liu Cong is not unsympathetic to her husband. After learning about this business trip, she contacted her friends in Tibet for the first time and asked them to take care of Su Xingbo. Before the business trip, she boiled water for her husband for several days to make it easier for him to adapt to the highland environment. In addition, a sunscreen was prepared.

Despite his preparations, Su Xingbo was tortured by altitude sickness for two days, and at one point he felt that "his eyes were about to come out." Fortunately, on the third day, his physical condition began to improve, and the business work went very smoothly.

He not only provided basic training for the local police, but also brought the concept of anti-fraud. On his seventh day in Lhasa, the local police used the newly learned techniques and methods to help the masses recover 30,000 yuan in losses.

In July 2017, Su Xingbo wrote the book "Su Police Officer's Anti-Telecom Network Fraud Teaching Battle Handbook", which was widely acclaimed as soon as it came out. The book also won the 2018 Golden Shield Book Award.

When Su Xingbo wrote this book, Liu Cong saw it in his eyes. "Worked normally during the day, from around nine o'clock in the evening, writing until three o'clock in the morning. Sleep is basically 'quit'. ”

But the effect of the book spread made Su Xingbo very pleased. Many police stations took the initiative to buy this book as a guide for daily work, and many elderly people have become loyal readers of this book.

Since then, Su Xingbo's name and anti-fraud propaganda have been more closely tied together. More and more people know this "post-80s" anti-fraud policeman. And the experience of fighting a fire directly "sent him and his wife to the hot search".

One day at the end of March 2018, Su Xingbo and Liu Cong, who was eight months pregnant, drove on the Second Ring Road in Beijing. Suddenly, they found a taxi parked on the side of the road, and smoke billowing from the front cover.

Unable to appease his pregnant wife, Su Xingbo parked the car in front of the burning vehicle, turned around and rushed to the fire. Liu Cong recorded a video to "fix the evidence", and then threw his mobile phone into the car and rushed to fight the fire.

A puff of smoke struck, causing Liu Cong to cough, and a few obvious fetal movements reminded her that she was still a pregnant woman. She then got back in the car.

With the help of several taxi drivers who stepped forward, the fire was finally extinguished. For a time, videos of Su Xingbo, Liu Cong and others fighting the fire circulated on the Internet, and netizens praised them.

But looking back, explosions can happen at any time. This made Su Xingbo and Liu Cong also feel a little afraid. Later, they deliberately prepared two more fire extinguishers to put in the trunk of the private car. An unexpected "gain" is that the eldest son, who was in Liu Cong's womb at the time, now particularly likes fire trucks. "Maybe it was then, firefighting became a prenatal education." Liu Cong said with a smile.

Stick to your job

Guard the lights of thousands of homes together

In June 2018, the eldest son of Su Xingbo and Liu Cong was born.

In 2020, also in June, the second son also fell to the ground.

After becoming a mother of two children, Liu Cong's mentality has also changed. In the past, she was a bit "looking down" on stay-at-home moms. But now, she deeply understands the hardships of stay-at-home moms.

And Su Xingbo is still busy.

Once, the temperature in Beijing plummeted, and heavy rain was pouring down. Liu Cong was drenched in rain and felt that he might have a fever. When she left work, she sent a message to Su Xingbo: "Frozen half to death, can you pick me up?" After a while, a line of reply appeared on the phone: "Can't pick up, on duty." In the end, the colleague who learned of the situation drove her home.

After having children, the size of the family affairs, whether it is leaning down to clean the bottom of the bed, or using a screwdriver to install a slide for his son, is the "universal mother" Liu Cong out of the horse.

Even during the eldest son's illness, Liu Cong experienced those trembling sleepless nights, Su Xingbo did not experience a night. However, as long as the work can be completed before one or two o'clock in the night, Su Xingbo will rush home no matter how tired he is, and accompany the child as much as possible. Even if he could only lie by the side of his sleeping child for a few hours.

Because his son loves animals, Su Xingbo became a regular visitor to major zoos in Beijing during his rare vacation. The child is full of innocent words, and often brings long-term touch to the couple.

Liu Cong once recorded a conversation between father and son.

"Dad, are you afraid to catch bad guys?"

"Yes. But Dad is the duty, afraid to rush forward, because Dad is a policeman. ”

"Dad, if the bad guy hurts you, I'll beat him up..."

In the view of Su Xingbo and Liu Cong, today's parenting concept has been very different from their previous generation. In a child's childhood, "the companionship of parents is important".

In the nearly 5 years since giving birth to two boys, Liu Cong once felt confused. She also had lofty ambitions and ideals, but the balance of life, at this stage, was inevitably biased towards the family.

However, after some deep thinking, Liu Cong still feels that career and family can be taken care of. Although she needs to devote some of her energy to taking care of the children, raising two lovely children in a trivial life is also a source of happiness for her.

The kindergarten teacher told Liu Cong that the eldest son would imitate his mother's patrol when he was in kindergarten, looking around while walking, and not forgetting to hold a "police equipment bag" in his hand.

These details are observed by the children themselves. Many times, because Liu Cong is busy at work and has no time to take care of young children, the child's grandmother and grandfather will take the child from time to time to qianmen Street to watch their mother work from a distance. "The way I look at work should have been deeply imprinted in their minds." Liu Cong said.

In the view of Su Xingbo and Liu Cong, parents are the biggest role models for their children.

Since joining the police, Su Xingbo has twice been awarded the third class of personal merit, six times commended, was named the 2020 National Outstanding Communist Youth League Cadre, and won the Beijing Youth May Fourth Medal in 2017.

On September 30, 2021, Su Xingbo, as a representative of the young police of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, participated in the ceremony of presenting flower baskets to the Monument to the People's Heroes in Tiananmen Square, with a medal on his chest shining. Looking back on the situation at that time, he was still very excited: "From the early days of the founding of New China to the present, it is not easy for our country to develop step by step..."

On that day, along with other delegates, Su Xingbo presented a white chrysanthemum in front of the Monument to the People's Heroes.

In the public security team, engaged in "the most dangerous profession in the era of peace", Su Xingbo and Liu Cong saw more life and death. Therefore, they cherish their current lives.

This year's Lantern Festival coincided with the Beijing Winter Olympics, and Su Xingbo and Liu Cong both stuck to their respective posts. In the message collection activity held by China Ping An Network, they emotionally wrote down a paragraph like this: "Looking at the bright lights of thousands of homes in the capital, every household is reuniting for dinner, we build a blue defense line with loyalty and bravery: Family members, you are at ease for the New Year, we guard peace for you!" ”

During the break, Su Xingbo likes to walk around the overpass of Xidan Pedestrian Street. Under the sun, pedestrians come and go - this is a very ordinary human picture, the world he and his wife guard, and it can always soothe his soul. "I like to feel popular." He said.

Liu Cong also feels solid and satisfied with his ordinary days of always squeezing the subway and riding a shared bicycle to work. A friend thinks it seems too hard, and she always laughs and says, "What's so bad about this?" ”
