2022 is my first year in the police and the year I'm closest to COVID-19. The previous centralized isolation has ended, and I have returned to my post, but this "face-to-face" with the new crown virus still makes me remember it vividly.
On March 16th, I received a duty assignment while practicing in the police detachment. This time it was the train from Luoyang to Shanghai South Railway Station, because the new round of the epidemic has shown a national spread trend, and the Shanghai, Jiaxing and other places passing through have not escaped the invasion of the epidemic. I was scared when I was given the task, but I told myself not to back down! I resolutely boarded the train, 52 hours of perseverance, my whole face has been covered with protective scars, I told myself that I must persevere, because the expectations of passengers before getting on the train and the joy of getting off the train told me that it was all worth it.
After retiring, I went to the nucleic acid test at the first time, and then isolated myself and waited for the nucleic acid test result. One day I suddenly received a call from the detachment, saying that something was wrong with the train I was on duty that day, and that I was asked to stay in the dormitory and not to move around. It turned out that a passenger was unfortunately diagnosed on the return of the train, and I was dealing with a passenger dispute in that carriage. When I learned this news, my brain was blank, and I seemed overwhelmed by the world, I didn't expect the epidemic to be so close to me, and panic and uneasiness filled my heart.
In accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention, I was transferred to the centralized isolation point, and after a long wait, the negative result of the nucleic acid test made me completely calm down, and at this time I also received the instruction to go to the Luoyang Station police station for practical training after the end of the isolation. The new position injected new impetus into me, and I made plans during the quarantine, revisiting the "Brief History of the Chinese Communist Party" in the morning, conducting physical training in the afternoon, and supplementing the daily study materials of the new police in the evening. The methodical isolation life has calmed and relaxed my heart, and also allowed me to adjust myself to the best state, and continue to fight the epidemic after the quarantine is over.
After the end of the quarantine, I returned to the Luoyang Station police station, and with the help of leaders and colleagues, I successfully entered a new job and returned to the front line of the "epidemic". Although the practical training work is simple, it cannot be relaxed, and we need to be proactive, conscientious and responsible, devote 100% of our energy, and fulfill the "epidemic prevention" oath of "no retreat from the epidemic and no retreat from the police" with practical actions.
In April, peonies bloom. Look forward to sharing the national color and heavenly fragrance with everyone after the epidemic dissipates.
