1 Hongqiqu Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Linzhou City, Henan Province
Linzhou Hongqiqu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Linzhou City, Henan Province, relying on the Hongqi Canal, and belongs to the irrigation area type water conservancy scenic area. In 2004, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.
Linzhou Hongqiqu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is based on Taihang Mountain, Hongqi Canal as the main scenery, patriotic education as the connotation, the scenic natural scenery is dangerous and beautiful, the cultural landscape is rich, known as "artificial Tianhe", "China's Great Wall of Water" and "world wonder".
In the 1960s, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, 100,000 people in Linzhou fought hard for 10 years with the spirit of "rearranging the rivers and mountains of Linxian County", and built a large-scale water conservancy irrigation project of 1,500 kilometers on the cliffs of the Taihang Mountains, giving birth to the spirit of "self-reliance, hard work, unity and cooperation, and selfless dedication".
2 Erhe River Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia
Inner Mongolia Bayannaoer City Erhe River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the main trunk canal to the eastern suburbs of the city government, the length of 40 kilometers, covers an area of 103.6 square kilometers, the water area of 8.22 square kilometers, relying on the hetao irrigation district of the main trunk canal and built, belongs to the irrigation district type water conservancy scenic area. In 2009, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.
The Second Yellow River is the 230-kilometer "Yellow River Diverted Water" artificially excavated by the Communist Party of China in the 1950s and 1960s, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, which is the main artery for water transmission and distribution in the Hetao Irrigation District and the "Mother River" of Bayannaoer.
After years of development and construction, the scenic spot has built service facilities such as the Yellow River Water Conservancy Culture Museum, the Water-saving Science and Technology Exhibition Hall, and the Erhe River Science Popularization Cultural Experience Hall, forming a unique national water conservancy science popularization cultural characteristics.
3 Jiangsu Jiangdu Water Conservancy Hub Water Conservancy Scenic Area
Jiangdu Water Conservancy Hub Water Conservancy Scenic Area is built on the Jiangdu Water Conservancy Hub Project, located in Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, located at the confluence of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Xintongyang Canal and the Huaihe River into the river tail LuMangdao River, which is a model for the construction and management of urban river and lake-type water conservancy scenic spots. In 2001, it was recognized by the Ministry of Water Resources as the first batch of national water conservancy scenic spots.
The scenic spot is rich in resources and distinctive characteristics, the magnificent water conservancy projects complement the beautiful scenery along the river and the good ecological environment, the organic integration of characteristic water culture and modern water projects, the unique endowment of natural resources, the profound accumulation of human history, the location advantages are becoming increasingly apparent, and the management of water conservancy projects is at the leading level in China.
4 Guanmen Mountain Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Benxi County, Liaoning Province
Benxi County Guanmen Mountain Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Chen Ying Village, a small town in Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning Province, relying on the Guanmen Mountain Reservoir, and belongs to the reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area. In 2002, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.
The scenic spot is committed to building a happy river and lake, with excellent ecological environment, strong development momentum, safe and efficient management. Through exploring the development model of "water conservancy + sports", using the advantages of scenic mountain water resources to create well-known sports events, such as "Batulu Mountain Cross-country Race", "Colorful Liaoning International Cross-Country Challenge", "Guanmen Mountain Fishing Race", etc., the average annual number of tourists has exceeded 500,000, giving priority to the placement of local farmers for employment, benefiting 1,000 farmers, improving the appearance and living environment of the surrounding villages, driving the development of rural ecological agriculture and homestay industry, and helping rural revitalization.
5 Hancheng Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province
Hancheng Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the northwest suburbs of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, the right bank is close to the North Second Ring Road, Zhuhong Road, the left bank is connected with the ruins of Han Chang'an City, relying on the Unity Reservoir and built, it belongs to the reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area. In 2010, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.
The Hancheng Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area, formerly known as the Unity Reservoir, is a sedimentation pond of the ancient Cao Canal Road and the urban sewage Lixia Trench, and the water environment once deteriorated seriously. After the water conservancy department implements the comprehensive treatment of water ecology, water environment, water culture and water landscape, it has a new look and has become a water conservancy scenic spot with Han culture as the theme.
Relying on the unique water culture and Han cultural resources, the Seoul Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area has held cultural brand activities such as the Seoul Lake Spring Festival Cultural Temple Festival Lantern Festival, the Adult Ceremony for Thousands of Students, the Chinese Women's Shangwei Festival, the Han-style Children's Opening Ceremony, the Han-style Collective Wedding, the Han Culture and Art Festival, the Seoul Lake Dragon Boat Festival and other cultural brand activities, which have been praised by the people and favored by tourists.

Hubei Wuhan Jiangtan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the core area of the Yangtze River and Han River in the urban section of Wuhan City, which is composed of Hankou River Beach, Hanyang River Beach, Wuchang River Beach and Han River Beach, and belongs to the urban river and lake type water conservancy scenic area. In 2008, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.
The Wuhan Jiangtan Water Conservancy Scenic Area integrates flood control projects with urban landscapes, and plays an important role in flood control benefits, ecological benefits, economic benefits, environmental benefits and comprehensive benefits. After comprehensive treatment, the Wuhan River Beach is lined with trees and the green coverage rate reaches 90%, forming a green ecological corridor along the river.
In the scenic area, there are Yangtze River aquatic biological reliefs, Yangtze River Poetry Gallery, Crossing the Yangtze River Museum, Dayu Mythological Garden, Wanli Tea Ceremony, Yuehan Wharf Cultural Park, Water-saving Science and Technology Museum, Guanlu Trail and many other landscapes with the theme of Yangtze River culture, and held the Wuhan International River Crossing Festival, Sino-French Music Festival, Qixi Cultural Festival and other characteristic cultural festivals that highlight the Yangtze River civilization, with an average annual number of visitors of more than 15 million person-times, which is an urban ecological shoreline that integrates flood control, landscape, leisure and fitness, urban residents' waterfront, and urban humanistic shoreline. 7 Mulanpi Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Putian City, Fujian Province
Mulan Pi Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the lower reaches of Mulan Creek in Fujian Province, founded in 1083 AD, is one of the most complete ancient large-scale water conservancy projects in mainland China, is a leisure tour area where ancient water management wisdom and modern water conservancy characteristics blend, belongs to the irrigation area type water conservancy scenic area, known as "Mulan Pi in the east, Dujiangyan in the west" reputation.
The natural shoreline form and pastoral scenery of the scenic waters are well protected, and the landscapes of the landscape and forest fields and lakes and grass ecosystems are beautiful and harmonious, with cultural landscapes such as the Mulan Pi Memorial Hall and the Qian Siniang Memorial Hall, as well as natural landscapes such as Mulan Spring Rising and Egret Rest.

8 Zhuquan Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Yinan County, Shandong Province
Yinan County Zhuquan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Zhuquan Village, Yinan County, Shandong Province, relying on the Zhaizi Reservoir (Xiangshan Lake) and building, which belongs to the reservoir-type water conservancy scenic spot. In 2011, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.

Wuxing Taihu Lake Pugang Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the beautiful south shore of Taihu Lake, is an irrigation area-type water conservancy scenic spot built on the basis of the "World Irrigation Engineering Heritage - Taihu Lake Pugang". In 2017, it was recognized as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources.
Taihu Lake Pugang is an ancient water conservancy project comparable to Sichuan Dongfengyan and Shaanxi Guanzhong Zhengguo Canal, witnessing the history of water control in the Taihu Lake Basin for more than 2,000 years, a great pioneering work of the ancient working people who turned mud into fertile soil, and achieving Wuxing's Jiangnan reputation of "the hometown of fish and rice and the granary of the world".
The scenic spot takes the cultural landscape spawned by the Pugang Polder as the main line, embellishes the historical monuments such as ancient towns and ancient villages, and integrates the characteristic resources such as water town folk customs, creative farm leisure, and ecological agricultural tourism, which together constitute the Cultural Belt of Pugang on the south bank of Taihu Lake, inheriting the cultural context of Pugang with water veins, and is a typical characteristic landscape area of "the unity of nature and man, harmony between man and water" integrated with water conservancy projects.
