Faced with the current complex, arduous and repetitive severe situation of national epidemic prevention and control, during the Qingming Festival, Yanjing Town in Lixian County carried out various actions to effectively respond to the epidemic prevention and control risks and prevent and resolve forest fires brought about by the return of personnel to worship and sweep.
Volunteer action, strengthen publicity and guidance. Combined with the "Our Festival • Qingming" activity, Yanjing Town organized more than 30 cadre volunteers to walk the streets and households in Wujiagang Ji Town to distribute the "Proposal for Epidemic Prevention and Control" and "Proposal for Qingming Civilization Sacrifice sweeping" to residents, strengthen the popularization and publicity of epidemic prevention and control work, and advocate the masses to meditate at home and make civilized sacrifices. A total of 16 volunteer service teams and more than 120 people from each village (community) were dispatched to actively carry out volunteer publicity activities in their jurisdictions, and more than 8,500 leaflets were distributed. Before the Qingming Festival, Yanjing Town organized more than 350 village (community) cadres, cadres and volunteers from the villages associated with the organ station to sink the grid, knocked on the door one by one, inquired about and sorted out the basic information of family members and residents, nucleic acid testing and vaccination, etc., checked the "double code", issued Circular No. 2 issued by the county epidemic prevention and control headquarters to the villagers (residents), registered the people who were not at home by telephone, and publicized and persuaded the people who planned to return home before and after the Qingming Festival. The focus is on screening the situation of people who have a medium- and high-risk travel history to (return) to their hometowns and enter the country, and through accurate screening, the risk of the epidemic is prevented.
Patrol the forest to eliminate forest fires. The town party committee and government conscientiously implement the qingming festival duty and other work systems, formulate emergency plans for epidemic prevention and control, forest fire prevention, strictly implement the "civil air defense" system for wildland fire sources, and give full play to the role of the forest chief system of "one chief and three members", so that there are people to pack groups, some people to pack mountains, and some people to guard the entrance and exit intersection, and organize a total of more than 110 people in the forest fire prevention volunteer team to carry out forest patrols around the clock, and village-level publicity vehicles tour and broadcast forest fire prevention and control related policies. During the Qingming Period, the masses further strengthened the awareness of forest fire prevention, strictly prohibited the use of fire in the wild, advocated civilized sacrifice sweeping, persuaded and stopped uncivilized sacrifice sweeping behavior, and ensured that they were found together, persuaded and stopped together, and effectively prevented the occurrence of forest fires.
