Anhui only began to manufacture silver yuan by machine in the twenty-fourth year of Guangxu (1898). In 2009, Otto Beh of Esslingen, Germany, celebrated its 125th anniversary, and asked the local numismatic Gerhard Genmei to complete the book "125 Years of Carving and Minting in the Bych Factory", which was recorded in the author's disclosed archives that between 1897 and 1899, the factory had carved molds of silver and copper coins from Anhui, Fengtian, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang and Xinjiang provinces, and made more than 270 coin molds, and delivered them to the Schuler and Gannacher companies that had dealings with China. Thus confirming that the sample coins of the above five provinces are from Germany. Among them, 60 silver coin models in Anhui Province were delivered to Gannabi Company on February 16, 1898. Since then, the provenance and age of the silver coins minted in Anhui Province in the past twenty-three years have been completely clear.
