However, with the broadcast of this year's TV series "Shang Food", after comparing Zhu Zhanji, played by Xu Kai in this drama, everyone found that Zhu Yawen still played very well.
Zhu Zhanji was the fifth emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and historically referred to him and his father Akihito as the "Reign of Renxuan".

After Zhu Zhanji ascended to the throne, he fully demonstrated his imperial boldness and scheming, he dared to break through the ancestral system, made gold treasures for his favorite Sun Guifei (that is, Sun Ruowei in "Daming Fenghua" and Yao Ziyuan in "Shang Food"), and for Sun Guifei to dare to "abolish the empress for no reason", he raised civilian officials to balance military generals, and let hou raise eunuchs to balance cabinet civil officials.
After watching Zhu Zhanji's deeds, it is obvious that Zhu Yawen's Zhu Zhanji is more suitable, although in the play "Daming Fenghua", Zhu Zhanji was magically changed by the screenwriter, and it can even be said that he was smeared, originally in history, Zhu Zhanji was appointed as the heir to the imperial throne at the age of 13, and the honor and integrity inherited the throne, but in the play, it was changed to a falsified will, and the position was not correct.
In history, the struggle between Zhu Zhanji and Zhu Gaoxu can be said to be a complete victory, but Zhu Zhanji in the play was actually calculated by Zhu Gaoxu again and again, and was forced into a desperate situation again and again, and even appeared to be chased and killed by Zhu Gaoxu in the middle of the night, and was trampled by Zhu Gaoxu at his feet.
Although the plot of "Daming Fenghua" has been changed to such a bloody degree, Zhu Yawen's interpretation is actually very successful, the role he plays has always grown, and there are obvious changes at each stage, and the kind of yin and fierceness, cunning and helplessness he presents, giving people the feeling of indeed a royal heir walking on the blade. It's just that this person is not quite like Zhu Zhanji in history.
In contrast, Zhu Zhanji, played by Xu Kai in "Shang Food", is much weaker, and this role is really too thin, from beginning to end, it is basically a look, and there are no distinct personality characteristics. Even if a dragon robe ascended to the throne of the emperor, it was not obvious that it was a generation of male lords.
Whether it was during the Emperor's grandson period, the Crown Prince period or the Emperor period, Xu Kai's version of Zhu Zhanji looked like a young teenager, even if he did not smile and reprimanded his subordinates with a serious face, he looked like a child who tried to pretend to be mature, although he spoke the words of adults, but his tone and form were very immature.
But "Shang Food" has a point to do very well, when he treats real historical figures, although he will change according to the needs of the plot, it is not a magic change, such as Zhu Zhanji and Zhu Gaoxu's several confrontations, Zhu Zhanji is easy to win, but in the end Zhu Gaoxu's death change is relatively large, but this change only changes the way the character dies, and does not affect the real historical appearance and final ending of the characters.
Therefore, in these two dramas, "Daming Style" won in the actor's acting skills, while "Shang Food" won in respect for historical figures.
