On April 3, Beijing time, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame officially announced the complete list of 2022 inductees, and a total of 13 members were honored, 3 of whom have passed away. The Hall of Fame celebration will be held on September 10 and 11, Beijing time, and the list of 13 new members is as follows:

Ginobili was twice named to the NBA All-Star Game (2005, 2011) and helped the Spurs win NBA titles four times (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014). During his 16-year NBA career with the Spurs, the Argentine guard amassed 14,043 points, 4,001 assists, 3,697 rebounds and 1,392 steals, and won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in 2008 and was twice named to the NBA All-NBA Third Team (2008, 2011). On the international stage, Ginobili helped Argentina win gold at the 2004 Olympics and bronze at the 2008 Olympics. Along with Bill Bradley, he became one of only two players to have won Europa League titles, NBA championships and Olympic gold medals.

Official Spurs photos congratulated Ginobili on his election, and Ginobili himself posted a thank you in English and Spanish: "From the moment you started playing, it was another thing you never expected to happen. Thank you to the people who have helped on this journey. In an interview, Ginobili said: "I've never won a leading scorer, I haven't won an MVP, I haven't even scored a game. I was able to achieve what I am today because of my environment, my teammates who played alongside me, the coaches I taught and the teams I played for. ”

Harris dedicated his life to basketball. In his more than 50 years of coaching, he has coached all aspects of the sport, from junior high school basketball to the NBA. Well respected by players, coaches and executives, Harris has received the 2010 Jerry Colangelo Leadership and Character Award, the 2014 John Wooden Coach "Key to Excellence" Award, and the 2019 Basketball Hall of Fame John Crangello Award. W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award. For more than 35 years, he served as the coach and assistant coach of several NBA teams. He is also a member of the NAIA Basketball Hall of Fame and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.

In addition to the names that are more familiar to these NBA fans, there are also those inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Legendary referee Hugh Evans, who has played over 1,900 regular season games, 170 playoff games, 35 NBA Finals and four NBA All-Star Games.

Legendary coach Bob Huggins, who coached at the university for 45 years, led his team to 25 NCAA Championship seats and was named Best Coach multiple times.

Women's basketball legend Sven Cash, four-time WNBA All-Star Game, two-time Olympic gold medalist (2004, 2012), won the WNBA multiple times, in 2021, Cash has been inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.

Women's basketball legend Lindsey Warren, a five-time WNBA All-Star, a four-time WNBA champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, is now a coach.

Women's Basketball Coach Stanley: Coached at university and professional teams for 45 years, with multiple achievements and championships. He helped the U.S. women's basketball team win the gold medal at the World Championships. Previously, Stanley was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame (2002) and the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame (2010).

Legendary women's basketball player Teresa Golentz: A member of the three-time consecutive AIAW National Championship team, named AMF College Player of the Year in 1974, her No. 12 jersey has been retired from college.

The other three deceased inductees include 6-time All-Star Lou Hudson, 6-time All-Star Larry Costello and FIBA Hall of Famer Olympic medalist Radivoy Koraki.
