Talking about work, 39-year-old Li Zongqi said that he has been a "beauty-loving" boy since he was a child, and the first thing he does when he wakes up every morning is to take care of his hair. In junior high school, he was fascinated by a styling show, and every episode must be "chased", and the hair made by the hair stylist in the show made him very impressed. In this way, the idea of being a hairdresser slowly sprouted in Li Zongqi's heart.
"When I was in junior high school, my academic performance was average, and it was really difficult to surpass others by reading, thinking about whether I could do my favorite hairdressing industry and find another way." Li Zongqi said.
Whenever Li Zongqi revealed this idea to his parents, he was opposed by his parents. His father felt that a boy had no future in the barbering industry, and that only reading was the right way.
The day after graduating from junior high school, 16-year-old Li Zongqi packed his bags and went to Guangzhou with his dreams to work hard despite his parents' objections. At a young age, he experienced many setbacks and ups and downs, when he first entered the industry as an apprentice, he had to wash thirty-four heads a day; after starting to learn haircuts, he practiced holding scissors one day, and after a few hours, the muscles of his arms were sore...
"I never wanted to give up." Years of hard work, delve into the skills, starting from the lowest level of hair washing apprenticeship, taking every step steadily. With firm faith, talent and diligence, Li Zongqi became a teacher a year later.
After leaving the school, Li Zongqi began his part-time work road, "There are unknown hardships behind each profession, don't look at the hair stylist who is usually bright and fashionable, in fact, it is very tired, not only physically, sometimes it is tired." It is under this almost strict requirement that Li Zongqi's skills continue to improve. In 2013, he opened a chain of hairdressing stores in Urumqi.
During this period, Li Zongqi met his wife, and the next year he had the crystallization of love. As a father, he gradually understood the hardships and difficulties of being a parent, and began to have the idea of returning to his parents.
"As the saying goes, parents are here, not far away." Although my city is not far from my parents, they are getting older and it is time for me to take care of them. Li Zongqi said.
You grew up with me, I grew old with you. With this idea, Li Zongqi returned to Wujiaqu City and began to find shops and run decorations. In 2016, he abandoned his mature shop in Urumqi and opened a hairdresser in Wujiaqu City.
