Recently, in the Neople recruitment page, there was a new IP work "Project AK" of "Dungeons and Warriors" that had never been exposed.
According to the page, this is a soullike game developed using Unreal Engine, and the goal is to bring players an immersive story and a next-generation DNF action experience under the Dungeons & Dragons worldview.
On this job page, the Jeju Island-based studio is mainly responsible for the development of Dungeons & Dragons and the 3D side-scrolling action new game "OVERKILL"; the Seoul studio is mainly responsible for "Dungeons & Warriors Mobile Game" and the new soullike "Project AK" that came to light today.
Neople's Dungeons & Dragons: Duels, which was released in collaboration with Arc System Works, and another "BBQ Program", which was announced in 2018, did not appear on the job page. Dungeons & Dragons: Duel is now available on June 28, landing on PC and console (PS4/5).
But the "BBQ Plan" has no news after the two PVs released before, and this recruitment page has not seen this project. Has the project been aborted? Or is it in conflict with the OVERKILL project and is put on hold?
