Forza Horizon 5 is introducing a new PvP progression system.
As detailed in the update notes, the development team said in it that "we have been working hard to improve the experience of Forza Horizon 5 and have updated a new progression system, including badges that can be unlocked through the game".
There are also custom matches, which allow players to find matches with "the event and PI level of their choice", as well as fixes for some cases where "players may have waited longer than necessary in the post-match process".
We can also expect improvements in stability and performance, as well as repairs to brake calipers, brightening of very dark trees, and smooth optimization of the recesses of the Jaguar XJS220S.

Microsoft announced in November that Forza Horizon 5 has had more than 10 million players since its launch, and although it looked popular before its launch, nearly 1 million people played through early access to PC and Xbox before it went public on Nov. 9.
Some game media "Testimonials" have called Forza Motorsport: Horizon 5 "the ultimate big tent outdoor driving game that allows you to explore Mexico as much as you want."
