The statement said that after third-party professional testing, the foreign body in the sanitary napkin products provided by consumers is not insect eggs, and publicly upgraded 221 sets of quality inspection equipment on the basis of the existing production line and other related measures, while solidly carrying out quality inspection to improve quality control, with practical actions to protect the physiological health of girls.
According to reports, a consumer in Langfang, Hebei Province, said that there were worm eggs in the internal mezzanine of the seven-degree space brand sanitary napkin he purchased. For a time, the "seven-degree space worm egg incident" caused concern from all walks of life, and everyone pointed the spearhead at the brand side.
In this regard, Hengan Group contacted consumers for the first time and immediately organized special personnel to investigate the situation. After obtaining the sample of sanitary napkins purchased by consumers, under the witness of the local regulatory authorities, the company entrusted the industry authority - China Light Paper Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd. to test the samples. The test report shows that the foreign body in the sample is not a mosquito or egg, which belongs to the adhesive substance and does not pose a safety risk to the human body. After a comprehensive investigation, Hengan Group determined that the substance was caused by the dripping of raw material adhesive to the bottom layer during the production process. The company fully communicated with consumers and obtained understanding on the test results, once again apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers, and began a comprehensive inspection of the production process management of its subsidiaries.
The relevant person in charge of Hengan Group said that in order to avoid the recurrence of similar situations, Hengan Group invested more than 30 million yuan in special funds to upgrade the 87 sets of product appearance quality inspection systems, 30 sets of zhongbao product appearance quality inspection systems and 104 sets of zhongbao product intrinsic quality inspection systems, a total of 221 sets of testing equipment with cutting-edge technology at home and abroad, from vision, industrial control vision and metal detection and other levels to strengthen the quality control process, build a solid product quality and safety defense line. Hengan Group also said that it hopes to get effective supervision from all walks of life in the future and jointly witness the honor and responsibility of domestic brands.
