Traditional barcode readers require manual adjustment of the lens focal length multiple times on the production line to set to the optimal focus position. If the material change of the production line causes a change in the reading working distance, it is difficult and time-consuming to manually adjust the focus.
Simu VS800 is equipped with a 6mm liquid lens, and the zoom speed reaches a single millisecond, which is nearly 100 times faster than the mechanical focus reader. The VS800 uses an electro-wetting effect liquid lens that works like a human eye lens that changes the curvature of the liquid through a voltage drive, enabling smooth, fast zooming in just a few milliseconds.
In addition to configuring liquid lenses, Symou VS800 has built-in two hard-core self-developed algorithms, "Cube-A Technology Liquid Lens Instantaneous FocusIng Technology" and "Smart Line Deep Learning Image Processing Decoding Algorithm", which provide an acceleration engine for barcode shooting and decoding capabilities.
As we all know, the read rate is one of the most important indicators of the performance of a code reader. In the image acquisition and focusing process, the ordinary focusing algorithm requires hundreds of pictures to sample to complete the focus, which takes a long time and is inefficient. Simou VS800 is equipped with self-developed Cube-A Technology liquid lens instantaneous focus technology, which only needs a few sample pictures to drive the liquid lens to focus quickly, and the sampling speed is nearly 100 times higher than that of ordinary focus algorithms, providing high-definition images for subsequent decoding. In the image decoding link, Simu VS800 is equipped with the self-developed Smart Line deep learning image processing and decoding algorithm, which increases the decoding limit speed from the average time of 30ms to 5ms, which is 6 times faster and significantly improves the reading efficiency.
