Today's FishMan 93 wants to bring you a set of "big fat girls" that are familiar to military fans: the cultural and creative authorized Y-20 transport aircraft produced by Senbao bricks.
Assembly process
Senbao's parts subcontracting has always been one of the most easy-to-use subcontracts in domestic building blocks, this set of 1,254 pieces of Y-20 is divided into 4 packs, each large subcontract has a striking digital printing, most of the small parts bags also have corresponding subcontracting logos, sorting parts will be much easier.
The number of ancestral stickers has shrunk slightly, but the area covered by the stickers is still quite considerable; but considering that the sticker material of Senbao has been changed back to ordinary adhesive stickers, referring to the status of the stickers on the FC-31, the oversized cross-brick stickers on the wings are personally recommended not to be used, which may reduce the workload?
The first and second packages of parts form the main structure of the fuselage, with the door on the left opening downwards and the main landing gear compartment as a fixed decorative part. Limited to the scale of parts, only a 4-block width cargo compartment is reserved in the fuselage, and it is impossible to carry Senbao's own various 6-compartment small vehicles, which has to be said to be some regrets.
Although each plate and the body body have at least four bumps connected, the overall strength is still low after the assembly is completed, and try to avoid grabbing from the tail.

The instrument details in the cockpit are all printed, which is undoubtedly a lot of progress compared to the sticker instruments used by Senbao in the past; but the nose parts themselves are not easy to disassemble the structure, and it is not very convenient to disassemble the cockpit to show the instrument interior, and the cockpit only has a single seat instead of a double seat on the real machine.
The nose is installed in place, and the fuselage body except the wings is completely completed.
As can be seen from the flat tail, the large cross-brick stickers on this set of Y-20 also have the same unavoidable bubbles, fingerprints and other problems as FC-31, plus the parts seams on the main wing and the vertical tail can be impersonated as some carved details.
Unlike the impression given by the sealed drawing, the main wing does not use special parts like the nose, but quite cleverly makes the engine hanger and the central wing box into a wing bracket, and then fixes the main wing on the bracket with a suitable swept angle, taking into account the strength and appearance of the wing, which can be said to be one of the most eye-catching parts of the whole aircraft.
However, this fixed bracket also makes the wing unable to restore the upper wing of the Y-20 original aircraft with slightly lower anti-angle, considering the strength of the plastic parts, I am personally still more willing to sacrifice the reduction degree here to ensure the stability of the wing and the life of the parts.

The finished volume of Senbao's authorized Y-20 is between its own J-10/J-20 and Jumbo-6, with a total fuselage length of about 52cm and a wingspan of about 48cm, although it is not as huge as imagined, it is also a large size with a considerable footprint; to some extent, it is also more in line with the characteristics of the small wingspan of the Y-20.
By the way, this Yun-20 and Senbao's early "iron-blooded reloading" series of the old Yun-20 are completely different sets of design schemes, worried that Senbao and take the old product out of the skin of friends can rest assured...
Like most cultural and creative licensing products, Semba also chose a realistic prototype painting scheme for this Y-20. The 11051 Y-20 is one of the first two Y-20s in service in 2016, and together with the 11052, it brushed the presence of military fans in that year; Senbao's entire set of paint and color and hatch layout have been restored in place, and the sides of the nose are more naughty changed to "China Airlines", and our large aircraft are used by civil aviation to transport express drops
The Y-20's nose special parts are probably the best special parts of Senbao so far, without the disproportionate fatness of the J-20 and FC-31, nor is it like the 055 that directly created a one-piece hull. In addition to enlarging the driving window commonly on the building blocks and slightly Q-versioning the nose, resulting in a more passenger aircraft look, the overall degree of restoration is very in place.
The nose part of the machine can be opened upwards, but the Y-20 is not a straight-through cargo hold for the C-5 and An-124, so its "big mouth" cannot swallow cargo.
Fuselage side for the crew to go up and down the hatch, it should be noted that there is no limit parts behind this side door, it is easy to press it into the fuselage when actually playing, and it is more troublesome to get it out of the fuselage...
The central wing box above the fuselage is a quick-release structure, and after removal, you can put two four-wheeled armored vehicles into the cabin.
Probably in order to restore the supercritical wing of the Y-20, Semba used a large number of curved parts to trim a lot of curved parts in the front section of its wing, and the finished effect was significantly better than the previous stacking board and brick stacking wings; however, there were no movable flaps on the rear edge of the wing and the flat tail, and the play attribute was slightly reduced.
In addition, the number of hydraulic actuators also varies - the Y-20 has 6 sets of hydraulic actuators and fairings on each wing, and this set of building blocks is only made of 5 sets.
The tail hatch can be opened downwards, a little regret that the tail hatch failed to restore the Y-20 four-way open 4-way tailgate, a super long large springboard is inevitably a bit of a play, if the four tailgates in this part scale is really difficult to achieve, I personally think it will be better to make it into two door folds up and down.
Judging from the appearance, the prototypes of the two small vehicles attached to the set should be the WZ551 armored vehicle shrunk into four wheels and the Hongqi-7A/B anti-aircraft missile launcher, both of which are classic equipment for some years (laughs).
I don't know if Senbao will give some new "big eight wheels" to enrich the cabin in the future?

Compared with other works of the same theme on the market, the biggest advantage of Senbao's Yun-20 is undoubtedly the smooth appearance brought by the integrated part of the machine head. In the past, the Senbao suite often had special parts involved too stiffly, resulting in a completely out-of-shaped appearance or no brick feeling, and the Y-20 set has also been greatly improved, and a good balance has been achieved in terms of special parts and building fun. Considering that it has 1,254 pieces of parts, the current price of about 250 yuan in third-party stores is not too expensive, and I personally recommend interested players to try it.
Of course, the corresponding is a relatively rare play point at such a part scale: the whole aircraft does not have any movable flaps and rudder surfaces, the landing gear is fixed and cannot be retracted, the tail hatch is only a single door opening and closing, and the 4-block width cabin floor also limits its linkage with other military vehicles. For friends who pay attention to the playable point, its attraction may be a little insufficient...
