Some people are not sick at all, but they also like to take medicine every day, as if this has become a habit.

Maybe it's just to give yourself some psychological comfort, as if by taking medicine, you can make yourself strong and healthy.

What impressed me the most was that there was a criminal who had to take medicine as candy every day.

Once I saw what he was chewing in his mouth, and I thought he was eating sugar, so I asked him, "What sugar?" Give me one. ”

And he said, "It's not sugar, it's headache tablets." ”

Surprised, I asked him, "Headache tablets?!" Don't drink water? Chewing directly? Not bitter? ”

Take myself, before I went to prison, I almost never took cold medicine, didn't take a cold seriously, and didn't even think it was a disease.

In my past impression, I took a cold medicine once when I was a child, and I still remember the name, called "white plus black".

Probably in the fifth or sixth grade, one winter, when crossing the river, I wet my shoes and then my nose was blocked. During class, I couldn't concentrate at all, so I went to the hospital and bought two cold medicines "white and black".

After eating, the nose was indeed not blocked, but then it was slightly cold and blocked, but I did not want to take the medicine again, because the price of the medicine, for me at that time, was quite expensive, and one would cost a dollar.

So later when the weather is a little colder, the nose will be blocked. When it was not plugged, it was as if something was stuck in the nose, so I had to blow my nose violently, and it was immediately clear.

After a while, it stuck again, and then I had to blow my nose again to make it smooth.

Every time I blow my nose, there is a sound, but no snot comes out, so when my table mates hear me blowing my nose, they will show a look of disgust.

I remember once, sitting at the same table with me was a female classmate, she always heard me blowing my nose, and she couldn't help but accuse with anger: "Can you not blow your nose all the time?" It's disgusting! ”

At that time, my face was swollen red, and I felt extremely embarrassed, so I had to smile bitterly and apologize: "I have rhinitis..."

In fact, I myself do not know what the symptoms of rhinitis are, and I do not know whether I have rhinitis, but because I often hear this word, it is related to the nose, and at that time, in order to alleviate the embarrassment, I blurted it out.

Later, I told my family that my nose was blocked all day, I didn't know what was going on, and I couldn't concentrate in class!

So they took me to the hospital for a check-up, took a CT, and when the results came out, there was nothing growing in my nose. Because they heard before that there was a person in the village who also had a blocked nose, and then went to the hospital to take a CT, found that there was something growing inside, and after cutting it off, the nose was not blocked, so they worried that I was like this.

Then there was no problem with my examination results, and the hospital only prescribed some rhinitis medicine for me to eat. After eating, it did get a lot better, but after a while, it was blocked again.

I told my family again that my nose was blocked again.

They were also very anxious, worried about me, but went to the hospital to check, and did not investigate and deal with any problems, they had to find people everywhere to inquire whether anyone had encountered this disease, and then they inquired about a lot of treatment of the "earthworks", and there was empirical evidence, so-and-so also encountered, and then ate this "earthworks" cured.

For a long time, I was eating all kinds of "earthworks", but my nasal congestion problem, good and bad, did not have a fixed, I was also annoyed by it, but also used to it occasionally stuffed.

So he simply said to his family: "My nose is no longer stuffed, it is completely fine!" ”

It's not good, I just don't want them to worry about me all the time.

Anyway, I don't care about it, and I don't feel that there is anything wrong; I think about the problem of the nose, and it seems that there has always been something, so I live day by day.

After arriving at prison, a little nasal congestion, or a sneeze, will think that you have a serious cold, if you do not seek medical treatment in time, it will become particularly serious!

Coupled with the past medical experience, I think that I am "the recurrence of the old disease" again!

Coupled with the daily labor and production in the prison area where I am located, the air pollution is relatively large, and I have to wear a mask, so I firmly believe that my illness is particularly serious!

Every day I think about this problem of nasal congestion, the more I think about it, the more serious it feels, and even feel the pain in my nose, so I think that the pollution of the workshop is too big, so my nose is infected!

The doctors who come to the prison area every day to distribute medicines are also prisoners, and they only know a little bit of medical skills, so they serve sentences in the prison hospital for reform, and the daily task is to do some simple care for patients in the prison hospital, and then go to each prison area every day to distribute medicines.

When the doctor who came to our prison area to dispense the medicine came, I said to him: "Doctor, my nose is very blocked every day, I don't know what the reason is?" ”

He simply asked, "Is it a cold?" ”

I said, "No, it is blocked, it was blocked before, and it is estimated that rhinitis is committed." ”

Then he didn't say anything, he took a white bottle from the medicine box with the words "rhinitis" written on it, and then poured out four pills from it and gave it to me, and said: "This is what you need to eat every day, two in the morning and two in the morning, you take it yourself." ”

After that, every morning when he came to dispense the medicine, I went to get it on time, but after eating it for a while, it didn't seem to have any effect, but my nose was swollen and painful.

I told him about it, and he said, "Take off the anti-inflammatory drugs and eat them." ”

So in the daily "rhinitis" drug, "anti-inflammatory drugs" were added.

In this way, I went to get my "rhinitis medicine" and "anti-inflammatory medicine" on time every day, which has become a habit.

Every time I take the medicine, I deliberately pay attention to my nose is still not blocked, swollen and painful, but the more so, the more serious it is, the more intense the anxiety and fear in my heart!

Then when the doctor came back to give the medicine, I told the doctor about my symptoms, but he said to me breathlessly, "Can I take anti-inflammatory drugs every day?" Eating too much is not good for your health! ”

I was suddenly angry in my heart, thinking, obviously you gave me the medicine and told me to eat it, but now I blame it!

But I didn't dare to offend him, for fear that if I had any illness after that, I would need to go to the hospital to see a doctor, and if I didn't have a bill from him, I wouldn't be able to go to the hospital, so I had to keep myself from speaking.

I still took the medicine from him, but this time, I began to hesitate whether to eat it.

I thought to myself, after eating for such a long time, there was no effect, and these medicines were not good medicines. In the past, when I was outside, I couldn't eat well when I spent money to buy so many medicines, so is it okay to eat this "cheap" medicine here now?

I thought again, I was still so young, only one or twenty years old, but I learned to take medicine every day like those who were fifty or sixty years old!

Is my body just that bad?
