The 9+2 structure of the ITTF Executive Committee, Liu Guoliang is in charge of 3 projects
During the WTT Singapore Grand Slam, the ITTF issued a document clarifying the respective responsibilities of the nine members of the Executive Committee. Liu Guoliang, President of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, is responsible for: Business (WTT World Table Tennis Federation), High Level Performance, ITTF Museum.

Carril Al Mohannadi: Intercontinental Council, Tournaments, World Championships;
Aral Azevedo: Health, Innovation, Table Tennis for the Disabled;
Liu Guoliang: Business (WTT World Table Tennis Federation), High Level Performance, ITTF Museum;
Masahiro Maehara: Entourage, table tennis house, sports science
Dr. Ala Messerif: Athletes, Development, IT and Digitalization;
Roland Natland: Finance, Elder;
Wahid Oshodi: Advocacy and Protocol, Governance, World Rankings;
Graham Simmons: Cleanup Campaign/Integrity, Equipment, National Campaign;
Zoran Primorats: Athletes' Committee (co-chaired with Dr. Ala Messerif);
Yoo Seung-min: The Olympic and Paralympic Games (co-hosted with Petra Sorin).
In addition, the key topics of this meeting of the ITTF Executive Committee are: Singapore Grand Slam, U. Klan, Annual General Assembly, sustainable development.
The ITTF aligns its sustainability goals with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). A new position will also be created to focus on sustainability within the ITTF and support the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The ITTF continues its efforts to achieve more gender-balanced representation. The Executive Committee therefore decided that nominations for the Athletes' Committee must be carried out in pairs, one for one man and one woman. Following this year's elections, two members of the Athletes' Committee from different genders will join the Executive Committee.
At the same time, with the introduction of world table tennis, the executive committee is considering reviewing the current limit of 40 teams in the world table tennis championship finals. It will be discussed with the Busan 2024 Organizing Committee and the item will be included in the agenda of the next meeting.
