Custom soccer shoes created by domestic shoe graffiti master @Pete Zheng are increasingly appearing in European professional competitions, this time creating a tribute to the classic Adidas X Ghosted+ soccer shoes for Joao Pedro, who plays for Cagliari Football Club in Serie A.
In Cagliari's away challenge to Spezia on Saturday night Beijing time, the Italian international set up the adidas X Ghosted+ soccer boots that Pete Zheng created for him. As a regular visitor to ENJOYZ's "Global Boots Watch", Joao Pedro is particularly fond of the F50 adizero series. These pete-created X Ghosted soccer shoes are inspired by the "white/blue/pink" color F50 adiZero soccer shoes released in 2011. The upper was repainted to white, and the pink Adidas triumph stripes on both sides of the shoe, the blue tongue and the pattern of the upper showing a sense of speed were all restored. Paired with the metallic silver chrome outsole possessed by X Ghosted+ itself, it stands out on the court.
In addition to paying homage to the classic bespoke livery, the cuff position bears the initials "JP" of João Pedro, as well as the flags of Brazil and Italy, which show the Italian international born in Brazil and naturalized to play for the Italian national team.
Judging from joão Pedro's sneaker photos posted on his personal social media, Pete Zheng has created a number of pairs of custom adidas X Ghosted+ soccer shoes for him. Unfortunately, the new sneakers did not bring good luck to João Pedro, and in the end Cagliari lost 2-0 away to Spezia.
