Quilt-type welcome! Liverpool's meritorious former short-term rental Real Madrid first saw Mourinha forced to wear pajamas

Liverpool star Fabinho was surprised to meet Jose Mourinho for the first time before signing for Real Madrid, wearing pajamas, and recently revealed the strange meeting to the media. The Brazilian midfielder came to Real Madrid on loan from Ávei River in 2013 and made just one appearance for the first team and 30 for Real Madrid Castilla. Now Fabinho, Liverpool's honourable player in winning the Champions League and Premier League titles, can go back and laugh about how he met Mourinho in less formal attire before moving to Real Madrid.

"We arrived in Portugal, but I was there only for two weeks, maybe three weeks at most," Fabinho told the media recently, "I had a barbecue with the other Brazilians, and then my agent called to say that Real Madrid Castilla (Real Madrid reserve) needed a right-back and wondered if I was interested." Then one night, Lucio (Alaujo, the brother of former Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder Deco) came to tell me to pack my things because Jorge Mendes would be driving in the early hours of the morning. I was like, 'Is there something wrong?' Nobody said a word, but at some point in the car, Mendes said we were going to Madrid and I would sign them. I called my mom in Brazil to tell her about it and she started crying. No one expected such a big thing to happen in such a short period of time. It was a very special moment for me. ”

He went on to say: "We went to a hotel in Madrid and while I was still sleeping, I woke up to find someone knocking on the door. I looked through the peephole and couldn't believe it. It's Mendes and Jose Mourinho. I was still in my pajamas and wasn't ready to see him at all. I didn't even know what to say. He wanted to welcome me. I was a little shy and never thought I'd meet him like that! In 2013, Fabinho returned to Avi River after failing to secure a first-team spot in Madrid and was subsequently loaned to Monaco. He played for the Portuguese Premier League club for two years before moving to the Grand Ducals side permanently in 2015 before moving to Liverpool three years later. The Brazilian has become a mainstay under Klopp, making 155 appearances for the club to date.
