In this comparison of the iPhone SE (2022) and the iPhone 11, we will see how the two phones are superimposed in the case of a large gap in release time. Although the iPhone SE is brand new and the iPhone 11 is about to be released more than three years ago, this comparison proves to be very interesting. The new iPhone SE (2022) has a significant upgrade over the iPhone 11 — 5G support — while lacking the other features that the iPhone 11 has.

The iPhone SE (2022) and iPhone 11 have one similarity: their screens use LCDs. Other than that, they are basically very different in everything else. The iPhone SE (2022) uses the iPhone 8 body, just like the iPhone SE (2020).
This means that the new SE comes with a 4.7-inch display with a total resolution of 1334 x 750. Around it is the thick old-fashioned iPhone border. Although masks have become less popular in recent months, Touch ID remains popular — though the upcoming iOS 15.4 will bring mask support to Face ID.

While we're still evaluating the SE's camera capabilities, we know that the iPhone 11 comes with a 12MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera that captures some beautiful images.
Another major advantage of the iPhone 11 is that it has a night mode, which is lacking in the iPhone SE (2022). We really don't know why Apple doesn't include night mode, as the SE runs on the latest (and very powerful) A15 Bionic chip.
The front of the iPhone 11 has a 12MP camera in its notch. It needs to take a good selfie in terms of white balance and exposure control. We don't doubt the iPhone SE (2022) 7MP shooter will do well, but we think the iPhone 11 will lead the way in selfies and video calls.
For video, both iPhones can record video up to 4K at 60 fps. We expect both phones to record similar high-quality videos.

The iPhone 11 came out in 2019, when its A13 Bionic chipset was the best in its class. The new king of blocks is the A15 processor, which powers the iPhone SE (2022) and iPhone 13. The 5nm A15 is the most powerful mobile processor ever tested, and the iPhone SE (2022) will be significantly ahead of the iPhone 11 in terms of raw computing and graphics power.

In this showdown between the iPhone SE (2022) and the iPhone 11, it's clear that both phones are hard to go wrong with. Based on what we know so far without directly comparing the two devices, we think the iPhone 11 is enough for most people, especially those who care more about photos than 5G.
That said, if you want the best performance for your money, then the iPhone SE (2022) is the best option for you. The A15 processor is a very powerful chip, and the fact that the SE has many of the best features of the iPhone 13 is great, especially for the lower price of this phone. But if the small 4.7-inch display puts you off, we highly recommend using the 6.1-inch iPhone 11.
