Synopsis:
After the Battle of the Green Goblin, Spider-Man Parker (Tobey Maguire) bitterly rejects his only love, Mary (Kirsten Dunst), because Spider-Man's identity will bring great danger to himself and his loved ones, and Parker decides to take on the responsibilities of Spider-Man independently. Parker has been busy dealing with various challenges: learning to use superpowers flexibly; hiding himself under the dual identity of superhero and ordinary college student, living carefully, and so on. Parker is increasingly unable to extricate himself from Mary, but as Spider-Man, he cannot open his heart to Mary. His friend Harry has been working against Spider-Man for misunderstanding him; his only relative, his aunt, has doubts about Spider-Man's true identity. At the same time, a new challenge emerges: the evil and powerful Dr. Octopus. Parker shoulders spider-man's mission under all kinds of pressure.
