So, let's start with the story of our heroine, Judy! Sweet encounter, Judy at first sight of Bryce found that she liked the little boy with bright eyes, and her first kiss must have belonged to this boy. She was like a brave knight, unabashedly fond of him in front of her classmates.
But what about the little boy Bryce? Let's take a look at how this implicit child views this relationship, the first time he met Judy, he was repulsive from the heart, probably frightened by Judy's enthusiasm, and during his three years in school, he felt that the name Judy was a magic spell and firmly trapped him. In order to get rid of it, he found a nominal girlfriend for himself like most stupid boys, so as to eliminate this unreal "scandal" so that Julie could retreat.

The development of the story is often not so monotonous, because a big tree changes the position of the two children in each other's hearts, Judy especially likes this tree, because every time she climbs this tall tree, she can see the blue sky, white clouds, sunsets, etc., which come together to form the most beautiful scenery in the world, and this tree carries all her good memories. She had invited Bryce several times to share it with him, but none of them had succeeded. Because of the city plan, the tree needs to be cut down, Julie is reluctant, she uses all her courage to defend the tree, and when she needs Bryce to help her, Bryce refuses. Julie began to slowly discover that Bryce might not be as beautiful as she had imagined, except for those bright eyes.
Bryce rejects Julie when she needs him the most, but seeing the depressed Julie, he suddenly has an urge to comfort her, but he doesn't have the courage. He began to observe her unconsciously and silently. In the science and technology exhibition class, Julie's science experiment project chicken hatched from the eggshell to get the most A results, his heart is not convinced, think that Julie stole his limelight, even Julie sent him fresh eggs, he will also secretly throw away behind his back, because the father said that her backyard is very dirty, the eggs out of this environment are likely to have germs, but he does not know, these eggs are Julie spent a lot of effort to harvest, this girl likes him, so want to share all the good things with him, But these things were worthless in the eyes of the boys.
Julie sent it again and again, bryce threw it secretly again and again, he didn't want to reject Julie's kindness in person, nor did he have the courage to tell Julie that his father didn't want to eat the eggs. The paper wrapper couldn't hold the fire, and Bryce threw the egg and was hit squarely by Julie. This act hurt Julie deeply, and she began to ignore Bryce, which made Bryce particularly uncomfortable, and he found that he preferred the girl to haunt him as before than to treat him as a transparent person now. The two children's feelings for each other have changed dramatically. At the climax of the film, Bryce is very afraid to let others know that he has begun to slowly like Julie, so when he verbally insults Julie with an idiot uncle, and julie is not much better, he chooses to help and acquiesce. Unfortunately Julie heard all this, and she found that Bryce was worth nothing but having a pair of beautiful bright eyes.
Julie told Bryce that she had heard what he had said about her uncle and her, and she felt so sad that Bryce was powerless to explain at that moment. Because from this moment on, Julie would disappear completely from his life, and the tree that Julie was proud of had long since taken root in Bryce's heart, but he didn't know it. But now that the tree had been uprooted, he knew how painful it was.

I think the two people in the movie represent thousands of lovers, and we need to learn from Julie, who loves sincerely, frankly, and unabashedly, that Bryce was her dream, that she wanted to share all the good things in the world with him, but her love was never humble down to dust. You can not love me, but you cannot hurt me with my love for you. I think it was Julie's real, brave personality that slowly attracted Bryce, he never thought that a person's position in his heart can be quietly changed, he rejected this change again and again because of cowardice, but did not know that this power is so strong that he himself can not suppress, of course, Bryce is lucky, because in the end he bravely admitted his love for Julie, what about you?
