University College Dublin, founded in 1851, has established extensive cooperative relations with the business community and international educational and scientific institutions. The school is known worldwide for its high quality of education and pioneering research topics. The university originated from the Church of Ireland University established in 1851, the National University of Ireland was founded under her in 1908, and the University College Dublin was autonomous in 1997. 1. Project Introduction
According to the cooperation agreement signed by the China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as the China Scholarship Council) and the University College Dublin in Ireland, the two sides jointly established the National Scholarship Council and University College Dublin to fund outstanding people from the mainland to study for doctoral degrees at University College Dublin.
2. Contents of the Agreement

Doctoral studies abroad: not more than 48 months.
3. Select disciplines and professional fields
Energy, Resources, Environment, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Food and Health, Aerospace Sciences, Marine Sciences, Nanotechnology, New Materials, Humanities and Applied Social Sciences, Business and Law.
4. Funding content
The National Scholarship Fund provides one round-trip international travel expenses and scholarship living expenses during the funding period. University College Dublin offers tuition and research fees.
3. Application Requirements
1. The applicant shall meet the application conditions stipulated in the "2022 National Scholarship Fund Funded Study Abroad Personnel Selection Guidelines" and the "2022 National Construction High-level University Public Postgraduate Program Selection And Assignment Methods" stipulated in the application conditions.
2. Applicants must meet the university dublin admission requirements for relevant academic ability and foreign language proficiency and be eligible for nomination for this co-op scholarship by a foreign party.
4. Application Methods
1. Application Preparation
By 10 March 2022, applicants should contact the outside world in accordance with the requirements of the program, submit an application to University College Dublin and obtain an unconditional admission letter and a co-operative scholarship nomination. Specific requirements, procedures and deadlines are subject to information published by University College Dublin. Applicants should indicate during the application process that they are applying for "CSC-UCD Scholarship".
2. Application time and method
All applicants must log on to the National Postgraduate Program for Higher Education Between March 10-31, 2022 to complete the online application and upload relevant materials http://apply.csc.edu.cn, please select "National Construction High-level University Postgraduate Program" between March 10-31, 2022 and select "Cooperation Scholarship with University College Dublin, Ireland" by using the name of the cooperation channel. The application materials and requirements are detailed in "Application Materials and Instructions for the 2022 National Construction High-level University Public Postgraduate Program (for Domestic Applicants)" and "Application Materials and Instructions for the 2022 National Construction High-level University Public Postgraduate Program (for Applicants Studying Abroad)".
The National Scholarship Council entrusts the following units (hereinafter referred to as the accepting units) to be responsible for the acceptance of applications: the relevant universities are responsible for accepting the applications of the personnel (students and incumbents) of the university; the applications of the overseas students are entrusted to the Education Department (Group) of the Embassy (Consulate) of our embassy (consulate) in the country where the current institution or scientific research institution is located; the application of other personnel is accepted by the application acceptance unit of the relevant national scholarship fund (see the list of accepting units for details). The China Scholarship Council does not directly accept individual applications.
The selection unit shall strictly control the applicant's political ideology, teacher ethics and teacher style/conduct and study style, and evaluate the above performance in the recommendation column of the unit in the main form of the application form.
3. Submit paper materials
After completing the online application, please send the paper materials to the receiving unit as soon as possible. The receiving unit shall review the completeness of the applicant's materials before April 12, 2022 and submit the written official letter and the list of recommended candidates (fax and recommendation lists submitted by the Education Department (Group) of the Embassy (Consulate) Abroad) to the Eurasian and African Affairs Department of the National Scholarship Council, and submit the applicant's electronic materials through the information platform. The written materials of the applicant shall be retained by the accepting unit for a period of 3 years.
5. Evaluation and Admission Measures
In accordance with the "2022 National Construction of High-level University Public Dispatch Graduate Program Selection Measures".
6. External relations and dispatch
The admitted personnel need to contact the outside world to enter the university and other matters, and the dispatch time is generally September of the same year, and the specific time is subject to the official admission notice of the school.
