The policy of fixing troops varies slightly from place to place

The troops are determined in the following order of conditions:
(1) Priority collection targets. Meet the requirements for preferential recruitment specified in the State Council and Central Military Commission's conscription orders and recruitment policies.
(2) Targets of conscription for conditional soldiers. According to regulations, it is preferentially selected to be a special political, physical condition soldier or active duty force that urgently needs professional and accurate recruitment targets.
(3) Academic level. All kinds of graduating (graduating class) students are included in the scope of priority recruitment, sorted in the order of one, two, junior college and high school (middle vocational); and then sorted in the order of one in school, two in school, and junior college in school; each batch of students cannot be admitted to the next batch if it is not completed.
(4) Physical examination. Under the same academic qualifications, it is sorted in the order of several times of full qualification, full qualification of re-examination, and basic qualification of re-examination in the physical examination of the district station.
(5) Willingness to enlist in the armed forces. Strong willingness to enlist, multiple enlistment and pre-service training, volunteering to serve in hardship areas or obeying organizational assignments;

On the basis of the above ranking, priority is given to Party members, those who have received commendations and awards at or above the provincial level, and those who are close to the upper limit of the maximum age for enlistment.
