The fourth season of the BBC Drama "Sherlock" today revealed the titles of the first two episodes. The first episode is titled "The Six Thatchers", the second is "The Lying Detective", and the third remains mysterious.
"Six Portraits of Thatcher" corresponds to "The Six Napoleans" in Conan Doyle's original book, and the story revolves around the mysterious identity of the man who broke Napoleon's bust, directed by Rachel Tarari, who had previously directed Tank Girl.
The second episode, The Lying Detective, is based on the chapter of The Dying Detective from the original book. The original story tells the story of Holmes who is seriously ill and Watson is looking for the root cause of the disease. The episode was directed by Nick Hulan, who previously directed His Last Vow, the third episode of The Third Season of Sherlock. The third season of the fourth season remains mysterious, and the episode is directed by Benjamin Cuarón.
The fourth season of "Sherlock" consists of three episodes, and from the various information previously exposed, in addition to the two protagonists Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freiman, the main villain Moriarty (Andrew Scott), "Inspector Rethride" Rupert Graves, Rueth Breeley who plays Molly, and "Mrs. Hudson" Yuna Stubbs will return. The first episode will air on January 1, 2017.
