On September 16th, the compilation of the "Atlas of Chinese Ethnic Minority Cultural Relics • Tianjin Volume" (hereinafter referred to as "Atlas • Tianjin Volume") was held at the Tianjin Museum. The event was co-sponsored by the Municipal Ethnic and Religious Commission and the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and hosted by the Tianjin Academy of Culture and Tourism, and more than 60 editors from the ethnic and religious commissions and cultural and tourism bureaus of 16 districts of the city, the cultural and cultural institutions of the municipal cultural and tourism bureau system, as well as the municipal ethnic culture palace, the municipal cultural and historical museum, the municipal library, the municipal cultural heritage protection center, the Nankai University museum and other units participated in the exchange activities.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Director Zheng Qian expressed her appreciation for Tianjin's active promotion of the compilation of the national map in the form of national and local business exchanges and interactions immediately after the central ethnic work conference, and hoped that Tianjin would strengthen cooperation with the state editorial committee and expert group in the future work, and strive to make the compilation of the "Atlas Tianjin Volume" a model for China's scattered and scattered areas. Comrade Dong Yuwen warmly welcomed the experts of the Editorial Committee to Tianjin to guide the work, thanked him for his full affirmation of Tianjin's compilation work, and at the same time put forward three opinions on the compilation work in our city in the future, one is to "improve the political position, conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the Central Nationalities Work Conference, take the solid sense of the Chinese national community as the main line, take the important idea of strengthening and improving the work of nationalities as the fundamental observance, and actively promote the exchanges, exchanges, and blending of various nationalities with the achievements of national culture that meet the requirements of the new era." Second, it is necessary to grasp the fundamental requirements, strictly implement the conditions and standards for the selection of national cultural relics in the manual for the compilation and publication of the "Atlas", and ensure the quality of the compilation of the "Atlas"; third, it is necessary to clarify the task objectives, and all units should strengthen overall planning, communication and coordination, and complete the compilation work on schedule.
In the business exchange, Deputy Director Zheng Qian introduced in detail that the compilation of the Atlas is a major cultural classic project at the national level, a major document publishing project to fill the gap in China's cultural relics undertakings, a basic material for scientific writing and systematic construction of the history of the formation and development of the Chinese national community, and an important opinion on the scientific steps taken to shape the identity of the Chinese national group in a physical empirical way. Director Zhou Tingting interpreted in detail the guidelines for the compilation and publication of the Atlas, analyzed the characteristics of Tianjin's work in light of the relevant problems encountered in the compilation of the Atlas, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the actual operation.
In the on-site interaction, the atmosphere was warm, and the editors of our city who participated in the exchange activities spoke about the hot issues of map compilation. Zheng Qian and Zhou Tingting, two experts, made wonderful and satisfactory answers one by one. Comrade Zheng Qian pointed out: Although Tianjin is a city inhabited by scattered ethnic minorities along the coast and has only a history of more than 600 years, Tianjin has precious ethnic cultural relics from various historical periods in China, and some cultural relics are even rare in the whole country, which shows that Tianjin is an inclusive city with a wide range of rivers and rivers, which is the characteristics of Tianjin and the characteristics of Tianjin compiled by the "Atlas Tianjin Volume" this time.
The relevant business leaders of the Municipal Ethnic and Religious Commission and the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism demanded that the participating units should transform the results of today's exchange activities into future business work, improve the work plan in accordance with the guidance of the two experts, and basically complete the data retrieval and information classification in November, and promptly report to the Tianjin Editorial Committee Office.
