On March 7, Sujiatun District held a commendation activity to commemorate the 112th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8. Xu Ce, deputy secretary of the district party committee and director of the United Front Work Department, Yang Weili, deputy director of the standing committee of the district people's congress and chairman of the district federation of trade unions, and Guan Ying, vice chairman of the district CPPCC committee, attended the event. The chairmen of the women's federations of various neighborhoods, the directors of the women's committees of some districts, and the commended representatives of the March 8th Red Flag Bearers, the March 8th Red Flag Collective, and the Civilized Posts of the Women's Federation attended the event.
In his speech, Xu Ce, on behalf of the four major groups of the district, extended festive greetings and good wishes to the women compatriots in the district! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to those from all walks of life who have been concerned about supporting the development of women's causes! Warm congratulations to the advanced collectives and individuals who have been commended! Women's federation organizations at all levels in the region continue to optimize family service brands, continue to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of the construction of family tutoring and family style; protect the rights and interests of women and children in accordance with the law, care for women in difficulty, and continue to enhance women's sense of gain, happiness and security; comprehensively deepen the reform of organizational construction, and effectively promote the innovative development of grass-roots women's federation organizations, positions, and teams. He also called on the vast number of women to stir up the aspirations of the women, dedicate their strength, highlight the beauty of the women, embark on a new journey with a new mission and new hope, maintain an indomitable attitude of forging ahead with a new spiritual outlook and more enthusiasm for work, build a new era of meritorious service with action, create a beautiful new life with struggle, and greet the victory of the party's twenty national congresses with excellent results!
Zhou Wei, secretary of the party group and chairman of the district women's federation, read out the "Decision on Commending the March 8th Red Flag Bearers, the March 8th Red Flag Collective, and the Civilized Posts of the Women's Federation of Sujiatun District" from all fronts in the district, and 97 March 8 red flag bearers, 20 March 8 red flag collectives, and 15 civilized posts of the women's federation were commended. The leaders attending the meeting presented awards and medals to the commended Representatives of the March 8th Red Flag Bearer, the March 8th Red Flag Collective, and the Civilized Post of the People's Republic of China.
At the meeting, through the display of typical deeds, the outstanding representatives of women from all walks of life took the initiative to serve the overall situation of development, constantly innovated and forged ahead from different angles. The poetry recitation performance "Towel Fanghua" showed the heroism of women's meritorious service in the new era; the cheongsam show performance "Ink Orchid Pavilion" showed the female virtuousness, elegance, femininity, and noble temperament and charm to the fullest; the beautiful melody of the song "Don't Forget the Initial Heart" was inspiring, pushing the atmosphere of the conference to a climax, singing the responsibility of the majority of women not forgetting the original heart and keeping the mission in mind.
The meeting issued a call to the women's federation organizations at all levels and the vast number of women in the whole region to meet the new round of opportunities and challenges, unite as one, and make great strides in the journey of revitalizing new breakthroughs and making me the vanguard, so as to contribute to jointly promoting the accelerated rise of Sujiatun District and greeting the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Party with excellent results.
