"Look, there's a little black dot in the sky!" One day in early January 1943, near the train station in Saint-Nazaire, France, the crowd suddenly became commotioning! It turned out that people looked up and saw a small black dot in the sky, and it was getting bigger and bigger.

At first, the terrified people thought it was a bomb dropped by the plane. However, as this little black dot got closer and closer, some people with good eyes were surprised to find that this little black dot was not a bomb at all, but a person!

The man fell directly from the sky to the glass roof of the train station, and the glass shattered in an instant under the violent impact. The loud sound of glass breaking suddenly "woke up" everyone at the scene.

People slowly regained their emotions, after all, it was during the war, and at that time the Germans and Allies were engaged in fierce fighting in the air. Therefore, it is not surprising that a person fell from the sky during the tragic air battle!

As for the man who fell from the sky, people didn't really care much. Because even if this person is still alive in the air, he will definitely be directly thrown to death after landing on the ground, turning into a cold corpse.

After a while, several German soldiers on duty nearby arrived at the scene, and from their clothing they found that the person who had fallen was an Allied pilot. The German soldiers then began a routine examination to see if they could retrieve some valuable information from the corpse.

But when the Germans opened the "corpse" of the Allied pilot, something shocking happened: the German soldiers found that the Allied pilot was still breathing! So the German soldiers urgently called the military doctor and began to rescue the Allied pilot who "miraculously survived".

When the German medic arrived, he couldn't believe his eyes either: a man who had fallen from a height of at least a few thousand meters was still alive! After a series of careful examinations, the military doctors found that the Allied pilot had as many as 28 injuries all over his body: a fractured right leg, a broken nose bridge, and some degree of kidney damage.

However, it is possible that the Allied pilot was favored by the "god of fate": even after such a serious injury, he was lucky to survive.

Later, the Germans learned that the Allied pilot was named "Maji" and that he belonged to the Eighth Air Force of the US Air Force in the south of England. On that day, the Allies dispatched 85 B-17 bombers to launch a massive airstrike on Saint-Nazaire in the German-occupied area.

But just as Maggie's fleet approached Saint-Nazaire, they were met with heavy German ground anti-aircraft fire. Unfortunately, the right wing of the No. 41 bomber, where the gunner Maggie was located, was hit by a shell, and the wing was quickly broken in two. Losing its right wing, Bomber 41 was planted on the ground.

The glass of the anti-aircraft turret where Maggie was at the time was also shattered, and the broken glass scraped his face full of blood. At this point, Maggie had to endure great pain and try to get out of the turret compartment: he was ready to escape with a parachute bag. But when he managed to get the umbrella bag, he found that it had been scratched by the splash of shrapnel.

At this moment, another anti-aircraft shell hit the descending aircraft, and the entire bomber's fuselage split in half this time! Caught off guard, Magee was thrown straight out of the cabin.

According to Maggie's later recollection: the altitude of the plane was about 5,000 meters at that time! A person who falls directly into the ground from such a height will not live without thinking about it.

But in the end, Maggie miraculously survived! For this strange thing, many German experts at the time were really puzzled: they believed that Maggie may have encountered a strong updraft during the fall at an altitude of 5,000 meters, which slowed his descent and finally made him lucky to survive.

As a lucky darling of "no one before, no one after", the German army has great respect for Maggie and does not embarrass him too much! After recovering from his wounds, Magee was held in a prisoner-of-war camp, but he was not subjected to any ill-treatment. It was not until May 1945, after Germany's defeat, that he was released and returned home.

However, after the war, Maggie's "incredible story" has been questioned! After all, people can't use science to explain his story. Therefore, it is also believed that when Maggie fell from the air, he must have been carrying the parachute with the hole. It is even possible that the parachute was not broken at all, but that Maggie parachuted almost to the ground before being broken by German anti-aircraft fire.

Because Maggie was so close to the ground, the parachute was able to save his life after it broke away. So the question arises: who is deliberately lying in this bizarre "miracle" event?
