When is the right time to come to the Kunlun Islands?
March to September is the best time to travel, and while it's the rainy season, fleeting showers won't make you uncomfortable. The rest of the time is very hot, and the rain will make the weather cooler and more pleasant, so that visitors can swim, dive, see corals or watch turtles lay eggs.

How to travel to Kunlun Islands
1: Take a boat trip
Depart Ho Chi Minh City by bus to Vung Tau city and arrive at Cat Lo to buy a ticket to the Kunlun Islands. Tickets include large boats and small boats, as well as motorbikes. The fare is about VND 390,000 – VND 590,000 per person.
In addition to regular boats, you can also choose faster speedboats to save time. Speedboat fares from Vung Tau to the Kunlun Islands are around VND 310,000 – VND 1,200,000 (prices vary depending on the class and service of the boat) and the entire journey time is about 3 hours.
2: By plane
If you want to be faster, you can choose to fly there. Currently, only Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air have routes to the Kunlun Islands, and only direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho are available, depending on the city you are in. The flight time is approximately 45 minutes and the fare is around VND 1,700,000 to VND 2,500,000.
