Thailand network reported that according to Thai media news, on March 9, the Thai Customs Department spokesman Cha Yu revealed that when the Customs Department's Joint Airport Interception Working Group (AITF) inspected international passengers entering Suvarnabhumi Airport a few days ago, a 44-year-old Guinean man from Nigeria was found suspicious, so he took the man to the hospital for X-ray examination.
The results showed that the man had a foreign body in his abdomen. The man was then taken to Suvarnabhumi's office to excrete foreign bodies, discharging a total of 54 packets of cocaine-like drugs weighing 1,080 grams and worth THB 3,240,000. According to the relevant regulations of the Customs Law, the man was accused of illegal smuggling and possession of Class 2 drugs, and will be further investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law.
