In 1993, the Singapore Broadcasting Authority collaborated with Guangdong Television to produce the drama "Kunlun Nu".
"Kunlun Nu" is different from the pure fiction of "Lotus Battle", "Saiwai Strange Hero" and "Nine Days of Crane Roaring", and its story has a lot to do with the history.
The story of the series is derived from the legendary novel "The Biography of Kunlun Nu" created by Pei Chun in the Tang Dynasty, which is included in the "Taiping Guangji" volume 194, telling the story of Kunlun Nu Mole secretly helping the big bureaucratic prostitute Hongxiu and Cui Sheng to join forces.
However, this drama only borrows the names of Kunlun Nu Miller and Hongxiu in the story, and its entire story has been recreated.
The play portrays the kunlun hot-blooded teenager Mole, the aristocratic girl Zhang Ying, the chivalrous girl Hongxiu, the cunning disciple Shi Chaoyi, and the worldly high-ranking xuanyue Daochang.
Among them, there are both vigorous love stories and happy revenges, and the plot is very exciting.
In addition to the wonderful story, the music in the play is also memorable, and there are a total of 4 songs in the whole play of "Kunlun Nu", all of which are composed by Liang Wenfu and sung by Jiu Jian.
Among them, the theme song "Where is not the river", the ending song "God knows that you know" and the interlude "Love You All Your Life Is Not Enough" are all arranged by Liang Wenfu, and the interlude "Long Hate Song" is directly completed with Bai Juyi's famous poem soundtrack, which is the most creative work among these four songs.
Broadcast on the mainland in 1994, Kunlun Nu was quickly loved by audiences for its innovative story and twists and turns, and was replayed by various television stations for a long time.
In the minds of the audience, Zhang Ying and Hongxiu are the most popular, and the audience's debate about which of them is more beautiful is called the "dispute between red and white", which has not stopped.
27 years have passed, the main actors participating in this drama, how is the recent situation?
1, Mole - Zhou Chuming
Before commenting on the actors, Pigo felt the need to popularize what a "Kunlun Nu" was.
Kunlun does not refer to Kunlun Mountain, but the ancient Chinese name for the Nanyang region, Kunlun Nu is a servant from Nanyang, most of whom are black people from Southeast Asia.
According to the clues in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, some scholars believe that there were black people in China as early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
In the "Biography of Kunlun Nu", Cui Sheng, the son of a certain high-ranking official, visits the home of a high-ranking official of Yipin and falls in love with the prostitute Hongxiu in the high-ranking official's mansion. When Cui Sheng's kunlun nu mole learned of the original commission, he carried Cui Sheng over the ten high walls in the official palace to meet Hongxiu, and later carried Cui Sheng and Hongxiu over the wall and sent them home.
This is the only story in ancient times with a black person as the protagonist, and compared with the tall and mighty Mo Le, the image of the young master Cui Sheng is much more obscene.
Later, the matter of Cui Sheng and Hongxiu was discovered by a pin official, and Cui Sheng was forced to confess to Mo Le when he was questioned. The screenwriter obviously did not like the character of Cui Sheng, so he directly deleted him and let Miller become the male protagonist of the play.
Zhou Chuming, the actor who plays Mo le, is not black, but a handsome and handsome Han guy.
In 1990, he won the title of Singapore's hit variety show "Talented Rookie" and thus entered the film and television industry. In the show business circle over the years, he has won the Star Awards many times and is also an excellent host, but he retired after 2018's "Five Zero Masters".
2. Red Silk - Li Yueyi
The Kunlun Nu in "The Legend of Kunlun Nu" carries the red silk out of ten high walls, fulfilling the love between her and Cui Sheng. However, instead of knowing how to repay favors, Cui Sheng betrayed him in a time of crisis, and fortunately, he escaped the disaster because of his high skills.

Hongxiu once saved Shi Chaoyi, the son of the rebel leader Shi Siming, and then received Shi Chaoyi's love, but when Hongxiu realized that Shi Chaoyi's heart was wrong, he left in anger.
Later, she fell in love with Mole again, but Mole already had a heart, and Hongxiu could only choose to become a monk in the end, so that the Green Lantern Ancient Buddha would accompany him for a lifetime.
Lee Yuek Yee plays HongXiu, a Malaysian sabah who was the runner-up of 1993's Talented Rookie.
Her first TV series was "The Hero of The Swinging Kou" with Chun Yu Shanshan, and later participated in "Chivalrous Bao Gong" and "The Great Conspiracy".
But after the show, she quit the film and television industry due to illness and is now a lawyer.
3. Zhang Ying - Guo Shuxian
Zhang Ying is the original character in the play, she is born into an aristocracy, but she walks the rivers and lakes in a white-clothed, light veiled image, like a fairy in the world.
Mo Le fell in love with Zhang Ying when he first saw her, and after the two experienced the test of life and death, they gradually became lovers and confidants who could trust each other with their lives and be happy with each other.
Guo Shuxian, who plays Zhang Ying, is also very good-looking, and there is always a dispute on the Internet about who is more beautiful between her and Li Yueyi.
Guo Shuxian was born in Singapore, but her ancestral home is Guangdong, and her appearance also carries the characteristics of Cantonese people, with white skin, thin body but also a good figure.
Guo Shuxian debuted in 1993 and became the protagonist of the play after participating in "Red Dust Solo Dance" and "Proud Of Ambition".
Guo Shuxian has greater achievements than Li Yueyi in the show business circle, and she is also an excellent singer and host.

Shi Siming and Shi Chaoyi father and son are the main villains in the play, and they are actually characters who really existed in history.
Shi Siming was a Turkic and one of the culprits of the An Shi Rebellion, who followed An Lushan in the fourteenth year (755) of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang's Reign (755) and established the capital Fanyang (Beijing) in the second year of Qianyuan (759), with the era name Shuntian.
In the second year of Emperor Suzong of Tang 's reign ( 761 ) , Shi Chaoyi killed his father Shi Siming and became emperor .
However, he only served as emperor for 3 years, and in the first year of Baoying (762), the Tang Hui coalition army attacked Luoyang, and Shi Chaoyi had to flee to Mozhou (mozhou, in modern Renqiu, Hebei), and later committed suicide.
Shi Chaoyi in the play seems to be much closer to the people than the historical image.
Although he is a villain, he has a single-minded side, pays a sincere heart to Hongxiu, and will try to hide his evil side in front of Hongxiu.
Shi Chaoyi killed his father Shi Siming, committing the great crime of killing his father, also for the sake of Hongxiu, and these joke stories have made this image a lot fuller.
In fact, many people think that Chen Taiming, who plays Shi Chaoyi, is more handsome than Zhou Chuming, whose ancestral home is Chaozhou, Guangdong, and Zhou Chuming participated in the "Talent overflowing rookie" program in 1990, but he won the third place.
He soon signed a full-time actor with MediaCorp, playing the villain, sinister and cunning young Man Fang Shunhua in his debut "Golden Sandton Road".
Chen Taiming has also been very active in the show business circle, but he is low-key and rarely reports scandals. Married in 1999 after an 8-year love run with Xinshi's famous Hua Dan Chen Liping.

It was because of this injustice that Talintya withdrew from the film and television industry in 1999.
