At 7 o'clock on October 19, the Key Construction Project of Hancheng City, which has attracted the attention of the people of the city, was successfully transformed into the West Extension Bridge of Taishi Avenue (the upper span railway part). The penetration of the cross-iron structure of the bridge has laid a solid foundation for the smooth completion and opening of the entire line of the West Extension Bridge of Taishi Avenue.
Zhou Xinqiang, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and acting mayor, attended the turnaround ceremony and announced the successful transformation of the cross-railway part of the bridge.
Zhang Jingfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor, presided over the meeting, Ye Peng, member of the party group of the municipal government, introduced the project situation, Wang Wei, deputy general manager of China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction Co., Ltd., Li Fuqiang, general manager of China Railway Seventh Bureau Group Road and Bridge Company, Yuan Xudong, general manager of China Railway Xi'an Design Institute, and relevant responsible persons of the Municipal Government Office and Housing and Construction Bureau attended.
It is understood that the construction project of the west extension of Taishi Avenue is one of the key projects of the Hancheng City Committee and the Municipal Government, and is the main passage connecting the G327 National Highway, Xiangshan District and the city center. The total investment of the project is 999 million yuan, covering an area of about 300 acres, with a total length of 1830 meters, a bridge width of 22.6 meters, a width of 3 meters on both sides of the sidewalk, and four lanes in both directions. The main line bridge was officially constructed in February 2017 and opened with the G327 national highway on August 30, 2018.
The project is scheduled to be fully completed by the end of December. After completion, it will become an important transportation hub connecting G327 National Highway and the city's Great West Ring Road, fully driving the vitality of the regional construction of the new city, Jincheng and Xiangshan, and promoting the rapid development of the region. At the same time, it effectively connects the Xiangshan Mountain Scenic Area and the Western Scenic Area, so that the concept of "Nashan into the City" is better integrated with the urban construction and development, so that this natural green oxygen bar becomes the back garden for citizens' tourism, sightseeing, leisure and sports.
