Netflix announced today on September 14 that the spin-off animated film "Soul of the Samurai", based on the 2017 fantasy film "Light Spirit" starring Will Smith, will be launched exclusively on October 12, and the official trailer will be released for a sneak peek.

"Soul of the Samurai" will be produced by ART ("Attack on Titan", etc.) and directed by Kyohei Ishiguro ("Words Emerge Like Soda"), the male protagonist Cyclops Samurai is played by Hiroki Nomura, the orc is played by Daisuke Hirakawa, and the female protagonist Elf Girl is played by Shinoe Wakasayama.
