Dongwu Avenue starts from Luxi Town and passes through Badou Village, Gaojialing Town, to Shuqiao Community, Guanqiao Town, with a total length of 27.778 kilometers.
"According to the principle of 'there are trees everywhere, everywhere is green', the tree species we planted on Dongwu Avenue this time are broad-leaved plane trees with a diameter of more than 8 centimeters, and 5,000 trees are expected to be planted in the whole section according to the proportion." The relevant person in charge of the scene was introduced.
In recent years, in order to strengthen the greening of villages, the greening of passages, and the construction of forest villages, Jiayu County has focused on the 100-mile long canal, Jiachi Line, and Xianpan Line, and designed and built the "One Belt, Five Lines" channel landscape forest with high standards. A total of 670,000 trees were planted on high-speed highways, national highways, provincial highways and county and township passages in the county, with a greening mileage of 1,341 kilometers, equivalent to a greening area of 13,300 mu. With Jiangzhou and river beach poplar trees as the core, we will build a "one river and three rivers" water conservation forest, ban 27 illegal docks and illegal sand and gravel yards, and complete afforestation of 117,800 mu.
"Jiayu County is a typical small geographical county and a large green county." Li Xinfang, director of the Forestry Bureau of Jiayu County, introduced that the county's land area is 1019.53 square kilometers, and the 109.6-kilometer Yangtze River shoreline runs through the whole territory, and the county as a whole presents a geomorphological pattern of "one mountain, three waters, four fields, two roads and manors".
According to the geographical environment, the county actively plants suitable tree species around roads, water bodies, major nodes and villages according to local conditions. At the same time, combined with the protection of the Yangtze River, do a good job in the article of "managing mountains and managing water, showing mountains and dew", accelerate the construction of an ecological civilization demonstration belt along the river, and make every effort to create a green corridor along the river.
The latest statistics show that the forest area of Jiayu County has now reached 430,000 mu, the forest coverage rate has reached 24.85%, and the county greening and ecological construction have achieved obvious results. In recent years, the county has won the honorary titles of National Garden County, National Greening Model County, and The Province's "Green Man Jingchu" Action Advanced County, and has successfully created 1 national ecological and cultural village, 5 provincial-level forest towns, and 30 provincial-level green demonstration villages.
