Chai Chunze was born in 1952 in Hebei, born in a cadre family, his father joined the revolution during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and became a cadre after the founding of the People's Republic of China. After Chai Chunze was born, his father moved several times and eventually settled in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, and Chai Chunze also followed his father here and entered Chifeng Sixth Middle School to study.
Chai Chunze was elected as the deputy director of the Municipal Red Congress when he was in Chifeng Sixth Middle School, attended relevant meetings, and became a representative of Chifeng Sixth Middle School to speak on the stage. At that time, there was a rumor in Chifeng Liu that Chai Chunze deliberately courted the leaders in order not to go to the countryside, and even some students said that if Chai Chunze did not go to the countryside, then they would not go to the countryside. In this context, the relevant leaders of the Red Congress found Chai Chunze, took the initiative to do his work, and mobilized him to actively go to the countryside.
At that time, Chai Chunze was already mentally prepared, and he had heard a lot of gossip in society, and he also knew that under such circumstances, he would definitely take the lead in going to the countryside. In 1971, Chai Chunze took the initiative to go to the countryside and came to the countryside to join the team in the countryside of Yutiangao, Weng Niu Special Banner, and became a "Zhiqing" who went to the countryside. At that time, the living conditions of "Zhiqing" were very difficult, Chai Chunze they lived in thatched huts, eating corn rice soaked in salt water, many "Zhiqing" could not stand the suffering, they wrote letters to their families for help, hoping to transfer back to the city, but Chai Chunze took the initiative to refuse his father to transfer himself back to the city.
Chai Chunze's father was a cadre, and in 1973, his father wrote him a letter telling Chai Chunze that there was a recruitment opportunity, that he had already said hello, that chai Chunze would return, and that chai Chunze must listen to him. However, Chai Chunze did not listen to his father, he took the initiative to publish his father's letter, and wrote a reply to his father, mentioning that he "took root in the countryside and fought for 60 years."
Later, when Chai Chunze mentioned his own experience, he said that at that time, he did not feel that the family letter was private, at that time, all he thought about was the country, thinking about the matter of Zhiqing, and as the person in charge of the local Zhiqing point, Chai Chunze held the power to recommend Zhiqing into the city, and he thought that he should recommend others to enter the city instead of entering the city first.
In January 1974, the People's Daily reported on the front page of Chai Chunze's deeds, and Chai Chunze suddenly became a celebrity. After that, television stations and newspapers came to the place where Chai Chunze went to the countryside to interview him, including Zhiqing from other cities who also came to visit the place where Chai Chunze went to the countryside. However, in 1976, after smashing the "Gang of Four", Chai Chunze was implicated in the "Gang of Four", was isolated and censored, and was imprisoned. After three years of censorship, in 1979, the relevant authorities announced the disposition of Chai Chunze, who was expelled from the party and also restored to his freedom and returned home to unemploy.
After a period of unemployment at home, Chai Chunze returned to work at a youth centre. In 1980, the relevant departments re-investigated Chai Chunze's case, restored Chai Chunze's party membership, and continuously calculated Chai Chunze's party age. After this, Chai Chunze was admitted to Chifeng Electric University to study, and stayed at the University to teach after graduation. Later, Chai Chunze took root in the education system, taught and educated people conscientiously, and was rated as an excellent educator.
In 2012, at the age of 60, Chai Chunze retired, and since then he has started his own business and served as president, setting up a website to serve Zhiqing. Because in Chai Chunze's heart, he has always been a young intellectual, and those years have his youth and his memories of his soul.
