The Ulan pastoralist from the Right Banner of Sunit, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is also one of the most highly educated in the art group, completing her master's degree in fine arts at the National University of Culture and Arts in Mongolia a year ago.

On June 17, 1957, the first Ulan pastoral horse in Inner Mongolia, the Sunit Right Banner Ulan Pastoral Horse, was born in Hastana's hometown, when she was not yet born.
When she grew up and began to study in art schools, she was infected by the spirit of Wulan Muqi's selfless performances in the frontline of production and life such as rural pastoral areas and street communities for many years.
In 2005, she returned to her hometown of Sunit Right Banner from Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia, to work as an Ulan herding actress.
What makes Hastana excited is that since 2018, Inner Mongolia has launched the grassroots comprehensive service activity of "carrying forward the spirit of Ulan Pastoral Riding and going to the people" in the whole region, and in the way of "Ulan Pastoral Riding +", more than 200 "grassland comprehensive service light cavalry" have been formed, and more than 2,000 service points such as remote rural pastoral areas, ethnic minority settlements, and border posts have been used for about 3 months every year to provide services such as literary and artistic performances to the grass-roots level.
"It makes me feel very happy to be an UlanMu rider." Hastana told reporters.
In the interview, Hastana introduced that in order to learn from the fine tradition of Ulan pastoral riding and promote the experience of Ulan herding, from September to October 1983, the then Ministry of Culture and the State Nationalities Commission held a "Ulan Pastoral Riding Performance Team Literary and Art Performance" in Beijing with the participation of representative teams from 13 provinces and autonomous regions such as Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Tibet and Ningxia.
In August 1997, the then Ministry of Culture and the State Nationalities Commission also held a commendation meeting of "National Ulan Pastoral Riding Advanced Team" in Beijing, and a total of 12 teams were awarded the National Ulan Pastoral Riding Advanced Team. Hastana said.
What concerned Hastana was that since 1997, similar cultural performances had not been held at the national level.
At the two sessions of the National People's Congress, she believed that in order to carry forward the fine tradition of Ulan Pastoral Riding and promote the experience of Ulan Pastoral Riding, it is hoped that the Central Propaganda Department, the State Nationalities Commission, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will jointly hold the "National Ulan Pastoral Riding Performance Team Literary and Art Performance" activity on a regular basis, so as to play a guiding role for literary and art groups at all levels to persist in serving the performances of the grass-roots people.
In her opinion, for more than 60 years, Wulan Mu has been riding non-stop, from catching horse-drawn carriages, riding camels, to driving tractors, to taking buses, mobile stage vehicles... Having always been rooted in the frontier grasslands, being able to hold regular national-level performances is also an exciting event for the development of wulan pastoral and artistic groups. (End)
