The red fox is a very skilled hunter, its prey is diverse, mainly some small mammals, such as various rodents, hares.
The red fox is not only a superb hunter, but also has an opportunism, it does not refuse carrion, animal carcasses and other easily available food, but also eats strawberries, grapes and other fruits, and even picks up food from human garbage.
Red foxes have a set when hunting, such as when the snow is covered in winter, rats hide in snow-covered burrows, which is difficult to find, but this is not difficult to defeat red foxes.
Its senses are keen, its sense of hearing and smell is very developed, it can perceive a very weak breath, and accurately locate the area where the prey is located.

The red fox in the northeast folk tale is a powerful "immortal", located at the top of the five immortals of "fox yellow white willow ash", but the red fox in reality is not so strong.
In the Xing'anling area, it also has many natural enemies, such as birds of prey flying in the sky, various predators running on the ground that are stronger than it, etc., of which the lynx is one of the opponents that the red fox does not want to see.
Eurasian lynx in the northern tip of Eurasia is also very widely distributed, lynx is slightly larger than the red fox, and belongs to the cat family, the combat power is very strong, so in general, the red fox is not the opponent of the lynx, only a very small number of male red foxes, only a very small number of male red foxes, have the ability to fight with the lynx.
