Leather seats ≠ leather seats
When many manufacturers have advertised that their cars have "leather" seats, it seems that in an instant, leather seats have suddenly changed from high-end configurations to standard configurations that can be assembled at any level and at any price. But is the leather seat on your car "leather"? The answer is no.
Most manufacturers use artificial leather, or some manufacturers will use semi-genuine leather and semi-artificial leather and recycled leather (the slag and leather fibers are ground up and bonded with an adhesive under high pressure to form a flake shape with certain leather characteristics).
