Wang Juting, zi Hengze, born in January 1962 in Qinghe, Hebei Province, joined the army in 1980 and has since graduated from the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts and the Jia Youfu Studio of the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He was a professional painter (with the rank of colonel) in the Beijing Military Region, specializing in Chinese landscape painting and figures, and also working on flowers and birds.

He is currently a national first-class artist, a member of the China Artists Association, a director of the Artists Association of central state organs, the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Painting, the vice president of the China Academy of Green Landscape Painting, the vice chairman of the Council of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Art, the vice president of the Beijing Sino-Korean Calligraphers and Painters Association, the vice chairman /senior art consultant of the Beijing Shijingshan District Artists Association, the deputy secretary-general of the Beijing Century Celebrity International Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and the researcher of the Hong Kong Academy of Painting in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
His works have participated in national art exhibitions and won awards for many times; he has been rated as China's most academic value and appreciation potential chinese painter for many consecutive years, and won the titles of "Top Ten Annual Figures of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting", "Hundred Masters of Chinese Painting" and "Zhongnanhai State Guest Artist"; his works have been collected by the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum, the Palace Museum, the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, CCTV, etc.; the works have been notarized by the state to carry the Shenzhou 11 manned spacecraft to travel to space. He was a special guest of the artist to attend the closing ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
