China has achieved the poverty reduction goal of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development 10 years ahead of schedule, contributed more than 70% to global poverty reduction, actively carried out international poverty reduction cooperation, fulfilled its international responsibility for poverty reduction, provided assistance to developing countries within its capabilities, and acted as a powerful promoter of the world's poverty reduction cause.

General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that the greatest happiness in the world is to strive for the happiness of the people.
