A few days ago, Liu wanted to buy a second-hand car, and happened to meet Zhao Mou, who was wearing a 4S shop uniform. Zhao claimed to have worked in a 4S shop, and he said that he could buy cheap second-hand cars through acquaintances, and he could also handle the license plate of "auspicious number".
Liu contacted Zhao to inform him of his requirements for vehicles and license plates, and asked him to help handle them. In the next half a month, Zhao contacted Liu several times, showed Liu a photo of the vehicle for sale, asked for 27,000 yuan of "car purchase deposit" and 38,000 yuan of "auspicious" license plate fees, and repeatedly promised that Liu would be satisfied.
Until February this year, the purchase of a car was slow to progress. Liu repeatedly urged Zhao, and Zhao said that he was traveling abroad on business and had no time to complete the transaction, and then said that the entrusted "acquaintance" did not go to work and it was not good to handle the relevant procedures. Liu mou sensed that Zhao mou deliberately delayed, and was worried in his heart, demanding to cancel the transaction and return the 65,000 yuan that had been paid in advance. After the police at the Changhong police station had a large amount of evidence, they persuaded Zhao to voluntarily surrender himself. After interrogation, Zhao confessed to defrauding Liu of 65,000 yuan. Zhao also confessed that after getting to know Liu, he heard that the other party intended to buy a car and choose a number plate, so he fabricated a lie and used 65,000 yuan of stolen money to repay debts after committing fraud.
At present, Zhao has been approved for arrest by the procuratorate according to law, and the case is under further trial.
