A few days ago, the winners of the "Hainan Comprehensive Deepening Reform and Opening-up and Free Trade Port Construction Exhibition (Pavilion)" children's painting collection activity were announced, and Hainan primary school students depicted the image of the future Hainan Free Trade Port in their paintings.

Organized by Hainan Daily Newspaper Group, the "Vivid Example of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the Era of Striving for Innovation - Hainan Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Opening Up and Free Trade Port Construction Exhibition (Pavilion)" will be launched in the near future (Pavilion). According to the requirements of the exhibition, the Provincial Department of Education and the Hainan Daily Newspaper Group began to jointly carry out a collection of children's paintings for primary school students in the province in January this year, with the theme of "Imagining the Future of Children's Hearts in The Free Trade Port".
Recently, the organizers of the event organized experts to select 100 award-winning works (10 first prizes, 20 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 40 excellent awards), 58 outstanding instructors and 10 excellent organization awards.

Recently, under the guidance of teacher Yang Xiurong, Xie Yingfei, a student of class 6 (2) of Danzhou Nada Town Center School, consulted relevant books and materials and created with the theme of "Beautiful Hainan Free Trade Port" and won the first prize of this activity.
Talking about her creative ideas, Xie Yingfei said: "Hainan Island has four seasons like spring, the sun is bright and the air is fresh, and the original inspiration for the painting came from the map of Hainan Island. Hainan has the reputation of Coconut Island, and coconut trees have always guarded this beautiful island and are one of Hainan's business cards. My painting is based on the outline of a map of Hainan Island, with a beautiful island standing above the sea in the center of the painting. Xu Jie, a judge of this activity and the director of the Fine Arts Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Qiongtai Normal University, said that primary school students in Hainan Province actively participated in the collection of children's paintings, and more than 300 works were finally selected and sent from all over the province to participate. The childish entries expressed the children's love for Hainan and the motherland. The colorful content of the paintings expresses their vision for the future of The Hainan Free Trade Port; the colorful colors, clumsy lines, and imaginative imagination reflect their naïve childlike interest and sense of innovation. Through these paintings, the judges discovered that "motherland" and "free trade port" are not abstract concepts in the minds of children. Through their usual observation and life experience, they have a clearer understanding of the Hainan Free Trade Port. In their paintings, they connect many unrelated things through imagination and present them with their own brushes, bringing us a different visual feast.
