The amount of money amassed is particularly large
Abu, Hui, born in 1967, a native of Lhasa, Tibet, holds a postgraduate degree from the Central Party School.
According to public information, Abu has been working in Tibet for a long time, serving as deputy secretary of the party group and director of the Lhasa Municipal Construction Bureau, vice mayor of Lhasa, executive deputy secretary of the Qamdo Prefectural Committee, executive deputy commissioner of the Administrative Bureau, deputy secretary of the Qamdo Prefectural Committee, and commissioner of the Administrative Department.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the Qamdo region is located in the eastern part of Tibet, which is the eastern gate into Tibet, and is located at the throat of the border between Tibet and Sichuan, Qinghai, and Yunnan.
On October 20, 2014, the State Council approved the withdrawal of Qamdo and the establishment of Qamdo As a city, and Qamdo City established Karo District, with the administrative area of the former Qamdo County as the administrative area of Qamdo Karo District.
In December 2014, Abu became the first mayor of Qamdo. In April 2017, he was appointed Secretary of the Qamdo Municipal Party Committee.
In December 2020, Abu was transferred to the Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee Political and Legal Committee, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region Department of Justice, and the First Political Commissar of the Tibet Autonomous Region Prison Administration. Less than half a year after taking office, Abu was removed from his post in May 2021 and ousted by the official announcement in the same month.
In December 2021, the official website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection published an article introducing that since the Ninth Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee carried out inspection work, a total of ten rounds of inspections have been completed, achieving full coverage of the inspection of the Ninth Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee.
On the basis of the clues of the problems discovered during the inspection, the Supervision Commission of the Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission seriously investigated and dealt with a number of cases of serious violations of discipline and law by a number of leading cadres in charge of the autonomous region, such as Tashi Jiangcuo, Wang Yunting, Abu, and He Liming.
In other words, Abu was dropped during the patrol.
The Lhasa Municipal People's Procuratorate indicted and accused Abu of taking advantage of his position to seek benefits for others and illegally accepting property from others during his tenure as deputy secretary and director of the party leading group of the Lhasa Municipal Construction Bureau, former executive deputy secretary and commissioner of the Qamdo Prefectural Cpc Committee, executive deputy commissioner and commissioner of the Bureau, and deputy secretary of the Qamdo Municipal CPC Committee, and illegally accepting property from others, the amount of which was particularly huge; his property and expenditure obviously exceeded his lawful income, and the difference was huge, and he could not explain his legal source, and he should be investigated for criminal responsibility for the crime of accepting bribes and the crime of having a huge amount of property of unknown origin.
Judging from Abu's resume, from 2004 to 2020, he amassed wealth for 16 years.
Arrange for the masses to send off
Abu is a two-faced man.
At the cadre conference held in Qamdo on April 24, 2017, Abu made a statement, when he mentioned seven "unswerving" in one breath, including "unswervingly adhering to the political principle of unlimited loyalty to the party", "unswervingly using the magic weapon of strictly governing the party", and "unswervingly adhering to the foundation of responsibility by example".
In June 2018, Abu said in his debriefing, "Since I became the deputy secretary and mayor of Qamdo Municipal Party Committee, I have worked with the vast number of cadres and masses in Qamdo to overcome difficulties, work hard with one heart, firmly establish the 'four consciousnesses', especially the core consciousness and the awareness of alignment, consciously maintain a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core in ideological and political actions, the resolute response advocated by the Party Central Committee, the resolute implementation of the decisions of the Party Central Committee, and the resolute refusal of the Party Central Committee to prohibit." ”
But it turned out that Abu himself did not do it. In February 2022, he was double-opened, officially referring to him:
- Interfere with inspection work;
- Failure to conscientiously perform the main responsibility of comprehensively and strictly administering the party, destroying the regional political ecology, and making false reports to party organizations;
- Wantonly accepting gifts from management service recipients, and accepting banquets and tourism and entertainment arrangements from private business owners for a long time;
- Disregard the interests of the masses and arrange for the masses to send them off;
- Incorrect performance of duties, interference in engineering projects and discipline enforcement activities;
- Life is corrupt and degenerate, does not pay attention to the construction of family style, and loses control of children;
- Greedy and lawless, he forms alliances of interests with private entrepreneurs, helps others in contracting engineering projects, and frantically amasses wealth.
"No privileges and exceptions"
On May 18, 2021, on the day Abu was investigated, the Standing Committee of the Qamdo Municipal Party Committee held an overnight (expanded) meeting to inform Abu that he was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and was subject to disciplinary review and supervision and investigation by the Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission.
Local media reported that the leaders attending the meeting made statements one by one.
The above-mentioned meeting mentioned that the discipline examination and supervision and investigation of Abu's suspected serious violations of discipline and law have once again sent a strong signal that managing the party and administering the party will never stop and that comprehensively and strictly administering the party will always be on the road, and that party members and cadres in Tibet have no privileges, no exceptions, and no particularities in the face of the anti-corruption struggle.
"Resolutely eradicating the poisonous influence of Abu liu is an important political task at present and for some time to come, deepening the comprehensive and strict management of the party and repairing and purifying the political ecology of Qamdo, resolutely drawing a clear line with it, and thoroughly eliminating its bad influence."
At the same time, the meeting also mentioned that the broad masses of party members and cadres, especially leading cadres, should consciously purify their social circles, life circles, and circle of friends, strengthen the building of family teaching style, build "pro- and "clean" government-business relations, and always maintain a clean and honest political essence.
