We use Canadian maple on the board, and DGK is the same foundry, raw materials, processes, plate types are the same, but the price of DGK is our double, the reason is very simple, that is, export and re-import!
Now many foreign skateboard brand product foundries are in China, the products produced by the foundry need to be exported to foreign countries first, fly around the Bering Strait, and then fly back from abroad. In this process, round-trip freight, storage costs and tariffs are not small expenses, and this cost is ultimately paid by consumers.
Would it be cheaper if the factory was in the brand's home country? No, it will only be more expensive. The hourly wages of workers in beautiful countries are quite high, and labor costs are sometimes higher than the cost, coupled with the miscellaneous freight tariffs, it will not be cheap.
For domestic brands, after the product completes the process of leaving the factory, only need to attach a freight fee to the skateboard shop, there is no high air freight, there is no need to levy import and export tariffs, in the case of minimal profits, consumers only need more than two hundred to get a plate, it will indeed be cheaper than imported brands.
Is the domestic plate only suitable for novices?
