In 2020, the Beijing Municipal Ecological Environment Monitoring Center established a sensor data acquisition and processing technology system based on a new generation of satellites, and initially realized the dynamic monitoring of remote sensing of polluting gases such as formaldehyde.
In recent years, Beijing has successively implemented 16 stages of air pollution control measures, a five-year action plan for clean air, a three-year action plan for the defense of blue skies and a "one microgram" action.

In 2020, Tianjin will break the "steel siege", retain only 4 steel companies, and implement ultra-low emission transformation at the same time. This year, the implementation of a new landmark in Tianjin's steel industry is imminent, and the requirements for emission limits are more stringent.

Tianjin is also accelerating the construction of a green ecological barrier of 736 square kilometers, and building a large ecological system of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei in series. Up to now, the forest land area in Tianjin's first-level control area has reached 188,600 mu, the forest green coverage rate has increased to 26%, and the proportion of blue-green space is as high as 65.1%.

In Zhangjiakou City, we have set up 6 water quality monitoring stations and 3 manual monitoring points in the Yongding River Basin, and all the monitoring data is uploaded and shared in real time, providing data support for the collaborative governance of the Yongding River Basin.
Represented by the construction of the collaborative monitoring system, the coordinated governance of the ecological environment in the Three Regions of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei has started in this basin. Pollution control and dredging, ecological restoration, so that the Yongding River in 2021 to achieve the first time 865 kilometers of river channel full line into the sea.
Looking north of the Great River from the shore of Yongding, Hebei has deepened the joint construction, joint prevention and joint governance of the ecological environment, and continued to promote the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei ecological environment support area.

It has taken the lead in completing the ultra-low emission transformation of steel, electric power and other industries in the country, and taking the lead in comprehensively eliminating coal-fired boilers below 35 steam tons, providing a solid foundation for the reduction of pollutant emissions in the entire region.
Mountains and rivers are connected and share a common interest. In the eight years of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the three places have broken down regional barriers, and under the overall layout of a map, the quality of the ecological environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has improved significantly.
Share a blue sky: continue to promote the joint control of regional air pollution, in 2021, the average concentration of PM2.5 in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will be 37 micrograms per cubic meter, down 58% from 2014;
Co-keeping a flood of clear water: carry out ecological environment governance cooperation in the upper and lower reaches of transboundary rivers, and the water quality of the Chaohe River, the Baihe River and the upper reaches of the Luan into Tianjin Project of the Miyun Reservoir and the outgoing water quality of the Li River and the Shahe River in the upper reaches of the Luan into Tianjin Project are maintained at the surface water class II and above;
